    摘要: A cable gland assembly for attaching a shielded cable to an electronic enclosure includes a cable gland housing enclosing and in electrical contact with exposed cable shielding of the shielded cable and providing an electrically conductive pathway between the cable shielding and the electronic enclosure. The cable gland housing further encloses a shield pressure ring disposed to hold the exposed cable shielding in contact with the cable gland housing, a weather gasket, and an exposed portion of a cable strength member. The cable gland assembly includes environmental molding disposed within the cable gland housing to bond to and fix in place the exposed cable shielding, shield pressure ring, weather gasket, and exposed cable strength member. An outer molding is disposed around the cable gland housing.

    摘要: A screen connector for electrical cables may include: a conductive shield sock extending about a longitudinal axis and configured to couple to a conductive screen of at least one electrical cable or to at least one jointing assembly for the electrical cables; a shrinkable protective sleeve arranged in a radially outer position with respect to the conductive shield sock; at least one first removable support element arranged in a radially inner position with respect to the conductive shield sock and configured to hold the conductive shield sock and the shrinkable protective sleeve in a radially expanded state; and/or at the axially opposite end portions of the screen connector, at least one watertight element. The at least one watertight element may be radially interposed between the conductive shield sock and the shrinkable protective sleeve.

    摘要: A cold shrinkable termination is disclosed having an electric power cable, an insulation body, and a stress control tube. The electric power cable has a conductor core, an insulation layer covering the conductor core, and a conductive shielding layer covering the insulation layer. The insulation body has a first end portion and an opposite second end portion. The stress control tube is disposed in the insulation body adjacent to the second end portion of the insulation body. The stress control tube has a first tube portion directly overlapped on the insulation layer of the electric power cable, and a second tube portion directly overlapped on the conductive shielding layer of the electric power cable and extending a predetermined length thereon when the cold shrinkable termination is mounted on the electric power cable.

    摘要: A plug-in termination of a single-phase conductor in a power cable termination assembly for submerged use. A first barrier separates an outer pressure-compensated housing from the sea. A second barrier separates an inner pressure-compensated housing from the outer pressure-compensated housing. The single-phase conductor runs through the first and second barriers and is secured in the inner pressure-compensated housing by its end being terminated within an insulator body insertable into the inner housing. The unsheathed conductor end is electrically connected within the insulator body to a conducting pin which is fixedly embedded by molding into the insulator body.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a system for data transmission over an electricity distribution network. The system comprises an electrical apparatus having a shielded electrical cable connected thereto. The cable has a core surrounded by a metallic sheath and armour surrounding the metallic sheath. The armour is disengaged from around the metallic sheath at a position where the cable enters the apparatus and is supported relative to the apparatus at a position spaced from that position such that a portion of the metallic sheath is exposed.
