    Abstract: A splice assembly for conductor can include an enclosure, a splice plate, and one or more clamps. The enclosure can include a first aperture and a second aperture that receive a first conductor and a second conductor. The first conductor can extend through the first aperture and can be secured to the splice plate with a first clamp. The second conductor can extend through the second aperture and can be secured to the splice plate with a second clamp.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a quick connect and disconnect cable junction box, including: a box body, insulators, copper busbars, connection wires, T-shaped cable terminals, linear adapters, and an insulation spacer. The insulators, the copper busbars, the connection wires, and the T-shaped cable terminals are positioned inside the box body. The linear adapter includes a conductive rod, an insulation layer, a quick engagement connector, and a housing. One end of each of three linear adapters is electrically connected to the T-shaped cable terminal inside the box body. The three linear adapters, three T-shaped cable terminals, three connection wires, and three copper busbars form a three-phase electrical path. During operation, the three copper busbars are correspondingly connected to three phase lines of an incoming cable of a ring main unit; and the three linear adapters are engaged with quick connectors of three bypass cable connectors via the quick engagement connectors thereof. The quick connect and disconnect cable junction box has a simple structure and low cost, and is easy to build. Using the present invention greatly reduces the installation distance of a flexible bypass cable, thus effectively addressing the difficulty of installing a flexible bypass cable to a power supply point over a long distance and improving operation efficiency of rush repair.

    Abstract: A wiring member comprises a first module having a first communication unit, second modules having respective second communication units, a cable module having cables which connect the first communication unit to the second communication units, and a branching module which is disposed at a prescribed position in the cable module. The branching module has a first cable insertion portion in which the cables are inserted in bundled form and a second cable insertion portion in which the cables are inserted separately, and the branching module is fixed to at least one of the cables in a first state and is made movable relative to the cables in a second state. One end portions of the cables are connected to the first module in bundled form and the other end portions of the cables are connected to the respective second modules separately.

    Abstract: An in-floor electrical fitting has a lower body that includes two half-bodies made of intumescent material. Each half-body includes a removable access wall that is also made of intumescent material and that is inserted into slots formed in the half-body. The removable access wall has at least one reduced-thickness section that can be broken off from the removable access wall to create a passageway through the removable access wall. During installation, the two access walls can be removed to allow an installer to a lay a conduit that will pass through the passageway through each access wall when the access walls are reinserted. An installer can pass power wires from one small compartment to another through the conduit while complying with code requirements calling for the separation of power and data cables.

    Abstract: A cable connector is provided for coupling to and mounted within the internal cavity of an electrical box for securing an electrical cable passing through an opening in the electrical box. The cable connector includes a body having a first end positioned next to or adjacent the cable opening in the electrical box and a second end spaced from the first end and the cable opening. At least one and typically two retaining members are spring biased from the first end of the body and extend into a cable passage of the body toward the second end. A front wall is provided at the second end of the body with an opening for receiving the wires and forming a stop member to prevent the armor sheathing from passing through the front wall.
