摘要: The present disclosure provides a specular display apparatus and a controlling method. The specular display apparatus includes a display module and a light ray controller. The display module includes a first display panel and a reflection film located at a light exiting side of the first display panel. A reflection surface of the reflection film faces away from the first display panel, and the reflection surface reflects a part of ambient lights which have a polarization direction perpendicular to a direction of a light transmission axis of the reflection film. The light ray controller is provided at a side of the reflection film with the reflection surface and configured to block light rays emitted from the display module and transmit the ambient light reflected by the reflection film, or transmit display light rays emitted from the display module and enable the ambient lights to pass through the reflection film.

摘要: An OLED display panel includes: two substrates opposite to each other; a plurality of pixel regions disposed between inner sides of the two substrates and each comprising a blue sub-pixel sub-region, a green sub-pixel sub-region and a red sub-pixel sub-region; and a circularly polarizing plate disposed at an outer side of one of the substrates on a light outgoing side of the display panel; wherein, an opening zone is within a projection area where a projection of each of the pixel regions on the circularly polarizing plate in a thickness direction of the display panel is located, and through the opening zone the corresponding sub-pixel sub-regions are exposed. A method for manufacturing an OLED display panel and a display apparatus having the OLED display panel are also disclosed.

摘要: A display device that achieves both high detection sensitivity of the touch sensor unit and smooth input on the touch sensor unit is provided. A method for driving a display device includes a first period and a second period. The display device includes pixels, a gate driver, and a touch sensor unit. The touch sensor unit detects a touch in the first period and stops detecting a touch in the second period. The gate driver supplies signals to some of the pixels and does not supply signals to the other pixels in the second period.

摘要: A display module capable of achieving a conversion between 2D display and 3D display, comprises a display panel and a light modulating component. The display panel comprises a plurality of pixels, each of which comprises three first sub-pixels arranged in a triangular pattern. All of the first sub-pixels are arranged in a plurality of rows in a first direction and in a plurality of rows in a second direction which is substantially perpendicular to the first direction, and the first sub-pixels in each row are arranged at intervals. The light modulating component comprises a first light modulating unit configured to adjust transmittance of light emitted to the left eye by the respective first sub-pixels of the display panel and a second light modulating unit configured to adjust transmittance of light emitted to the right eye by the respective first sub-pixels of the display panel. A display device and a driving method thereof are further disclosed.

摘要: An electronic device includes a display portion, an imaging portion, a control portion, an input portion, and a sensor portion. The display portion has a first display element that reflects visible light and a second display element that emits visible light. The display portion has a function of displaying an image using one of or both first light reflected by the first display element and second light emitted from the second display element. The imaging portion takes an image of an object, the control portion controls the display portion and the imaging portion, the input portion inputs a signal for controlling the display portion and the imaging portion to the control portion, and the sensor portion outputs sensing data to the control portion, in consideration of illuminance of external light. Such a display device increases the display quality, or keeps high-quality display regardless of environmental conditions and reduces power consumption.
