Abstract: A tiled display device includes tiled display panels arranged in a first direction and a second direction crossing the first direction. Each of the tiled display panels include a display unit outputting a portion of a divided image and a lens array disposed on the display unit to refract the divided image. The tiled display device further includes movement members, or adjusters, connected to respective ones of the tiled display panels, and a processor configured to control the movement members. The movement members independently move the tiled display panels in a third direction crossing the first and second directions, respectively.

Abstract: A reflective display panel is provided, wherein a color-generating layer of the reflective display panel includes optical grating patterns on reflective electrodes, and the optical grating patterns are configured to control a passage of light of different wavelengths. A nano-imprint technology is utilized to form the optical grating patterns with different shapes, heights, widths, period lengths, and space ratios to achieve control a passage of light of different wavelengths, so that the color-generating layer generates different monochromatic light, and light emitted by each sub-color-generating layer is brighter and has purer color.

Abstract: A near eye display (NED) includes multiple PBP optical elements combined with one or more C-plates to improve optical angular performance. The PBP optical elements may be configured for beam steering or for focusing light to a point. A C-plate may reduce or eliminate an undesirable polarization phase shift introduced by the PBP optical elements to angular, off-axis light. Birefringence of the PBP optical elements produces such a polarization phase shift. A C-plate provides an additional polarization phase shift that is opposite to the extra polarization phase shift by the PBP optical elements. Thus, the additional polarization phase shift by the C-plate at least partially reduces the phase shift by the PBP element.

Abstract: A method and apparatus to facilitate learning while moving, efficient multitasking involving movement while the user processes or responds to different stimuli. The stimuli may include but are not limited to information related to education or entertainment or feedback concerning the user's movement. More specifically this movement may be related to coordination, exercise or physiotherapy. The methods and apparatuses of the disclosure involve the user conducting movement, while simultaneously processing with the aid of an output device, movement device and sensor relays. In this disclosure sensors monitoring a user's performance on an output device may alter the parameters of a movement device's functionality, or vice versa. In some embodiments sensor relays may be used to create a perimeter for an area where a user can exercise while using an output device without the aid of a movement device. In other embodiments an observer can adjust the devices' set points.
