Abstract: A system includes one or more server hardware computing devices includes one or more processors and memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the system to receive a request to verify an identity of a user attempting to complete an examination provided by an online proctored examination platform to a candidate user authorized to complete the examination and repeatedly, at a predefined interval during the examination, determine, based at least in part on user data collected by the online proctored examination platform during the examination, the user data identifying the user at a time that the interval elapses, whether the user is the candidate user, and, responsive to a determination that the user is not the candidate user, perform one or more of a plurality of actions associated with a failed identity verification, the plurality of actions including stopping the examination.

Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method for providing student enrollment alerts in an online learning environment is provided. A subscription threshold for an organization is determined for students enrolled in an online learning environment. The subscription threshold includes a number of subscriptions purchased by the organization. New enrollments for one or more of the students associated with the organization is received. A new enrollment alert is generated for each of the new enrollments and the alerts are delivered to an administrator of the online learning environment. A total number of the new enrollments are determined for the organization. The subscription threshold is applied to the number of new enrollments. A subscription alert is generated when the number of the new enrollments satisfies the subscription threshold.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media are disclosed for providing analytics for evaluating performance using real time data on movement and proximity of tagged objects. In one embodiment, a method is provided for evaluating a player that includes correlating at least one tag to the player; receiving blink data transmitted by the at least one tag; and determining tag location data based on the blink data. The method further includes receiving player role data; comparing the tag location data to player dynamics/kinetics models based at least in part on the player role data; determining player location data based on the comparing the tag location data to the player dynamics/kinetics models; and determining player performance information based on comparing the player location data to stored player location data.

Abstract: A method and a computer program product are implementable on a computing device are configured for generating natural language communication. A user interface displays a first number of recipient-specific pseudo-predefined elements. A semantic allocation of the elements is received from a user, wherein at least part of the first number of recipient-specific pseudo-predefined elements are allocated into at least two different classes. The semantically allocated elements are allocated into at least one logical class which defines, for each semantically allocated element, a specific portion or context of the communication to be automatically generated. A natural language sentence is generated in each logical class containing at least one of the semantically allocated elements. The generated sentence includes elements allocated to the respective logical class in said at least one generated sentence or the sentence may include words describing a semantic meaning of the elements allocated to the logical class.

Abstract: Software for online active learning receives content posted to an online stream at a website. The software converts the content into an elemental representation and inputs the elemental representation into a probit model to obtain a predictive probability that the content is abusive. The software also calculates an importance weight based on the elemental representation. And the software updates the probit model using the content, the importance weight, and an acquired label if a condition is met. The condition depends on an instrumental distribution. The software removes the content from the online stream if a condition is met. The condition depends on the predictive probability, if an acquired label is unavailable.
