Abstract: A blind detection method and system for a PDCCH. The method comprises: acquiring PDCCH data; grouping the PDCCH data according to a location identifier of a resource element, and obtaining soft bit data according to each set of PDCCH data after grouping; acquiring control channel soft bit data from the soft bit data; determining DCI data according to the control channel element soft bit data; and acquiring a random access radio network temporary identifier according to the DCI data, to complete blind detection of a PDCCH. The technical solutions in the present application are applicable to a case in which an RNTI of a user is not determined, can ensure accuracy of blind detection of a PDCCH, and greatly reduce a calculation amount and a calculation time.

Abstract: Transmission control checking circuitry adds control check data to a transaction response which is received at a transaction master and compared with expected data at the transaction master. The expected data having control check data may be a unique transaction identifier. The transaction master generated the unique transaction identifier when it generated the transaction request and will check that the transaction responses include that unique transaction identifier. In this way, errors in the control of transmission of transactions (e.g., misrouting) may be detected.

Abstract: In accordance with an example embodiment of the present invention, disclosed is a method and an apparatus thereof for removing jitter introduced by a packet switched network. Each received audio frame comprises a primary portion and a redundancy portion. The redundancy portion comprises a partial redundant copy of a previous frame that is offset by k frames. If a frame n is lost, a frame n+k that comprises the partial redundant copy of the lost frame n, is located in a jitter buffer. Based on the frame n+k, a substitute frame n′ substituting the lost frame n is created and a substitution indicator of the substitute frame n′ is set to indicate that the redundancy portion of the substitute fame n′ should be used in decoding.

Abstract: A receiver architecture and method recovers data received over an optical fiber channel in the presence of cycle slips. In a first cycle slip recovery architecture, a receiver detects and corrects cycle slips based on pilot symbols inserted in the transmitted data. In a second cycle slip recovery architecture, a coarse cycle slip detection is performed based on pilot symbols and a cycle slip position estimation is then performed based on carrier phase noise. The receiver compensates for cycle slips based on the position estimation.

Abstract: A method for use in a relay unit includes receiving a dispersed storage error encoded data slice, and obtaining a current routing path associated with it. A predicted performance of the current routing path is determined, and a check is performed to determine whether a predicted performance of the current routing path fails to satisfy a performance threshold. If the performance threshold is not satisfied, alternate performance information associated with one or more alternate routing paths is obtained. Based at least in part on the alternate performance information, one of the one or more alternate routing paths is selected as a new routing path. The dispersed storage error encoded data slice is transmitted via the new routing path, instead of using the current routing path previously obtained.
