Abstract: An air intake duct, of a saddle-riding type vehicle, in which a flow velocity of an intake air is less likely to be reduced to enable prevention of reduction of an efficiency of a supercharger, is provided. The air intake duct of a motorcycle serves to supply incoming wind as the intake air to the supercharger for a combustion engine. The air intake duct has a passage area that is gradually reduced from an air intake port at a front portion toward a downstream portion connected to the supercharger at a rear portion.

Abstract: An exhaust gas recirculation system is provided for an internal combustion engine having reciprocating piston design with an exhaust gas turbocharger unit having an exhaust gas turbine and a supercharger. The internal combustion engine has a machine housing accommodating one or more cylinders having reciprocating pistons, which is provided with a suction unit and an exhaust gas outlet unit, which is connected to the exhaust gas turbine by way of an exhaust gas line. The exhaust gas line supplies at least a part of the exhaust gas stream to the suction unit via the exhaust gas recirculation system. To optimize the exhaust gas recirculation system, it has a pipe branch, which is connected to the exhaust gas line and is connected to an exhaust gas recirculation line with a control element interconnected. The exhaust gas recirculation line extends, on the one hand, with a first supply line section outside and, on the other hand, with a second supply line section in an interior of, a suction unit container of the suction unit. An exhaust gas stream is conveyed by the second supply line section into the suction unit container for targeted mixing of exhaust gases with the air volume contained in the suction unit container.

Abstract: [Problem] To perform an assembling operation easily while attaining improvement in engine efficiency.[Solution] An outboard motor 10 according to the invention includes an upstream side duct 42 which is fixed to an engine upper cover 27, and a downstream side duct 43 which is fixed to an engine 14 side. The upstream side duct 42 includes an exhaust port 52 which is opened at its side face. The downstream side duct 43 includes a downstream side lower duct 59 and a downstream side upper duct 60. In the downstream side lower duct 59, a suction port 61 is provided at a position opposed to the exhaust port 52 and separately at a predetermined distance from the exhaust port 52. In the downstream side upper duct 60, an exhaust port formed toward a throttle body 36 of the engine 14 is provided above the downstream side lower duct 59. The upstream side duct 42 and the downstream side duct 43 are formed so as not to interfere with each other when the engine upper cover 27 is moved vertically.

Abstract: An outboard motor includes an engine, a flywheel magnet generator, a fan, and a cover member. The engine includes a crankshaft extending in a vertical direction.
