摘要: An ejector includes a high-pressure passage, a low-pressure passage, and a connection passage. The high-pressure passage includes an upstream end and a downstream end. The upstream end is configured to be connected to a passage through which a high-pressure gas flows. The low-pressure passage is connected to the downstream end of the high-pressure passage. The connection passage is connected to a junction of the high-pressure passage and the low-pressure passage. The high-pressure passage is bent at one or more locations between the upstream end and the downstream end.

摘要: An evaporative emission control canister system comprises an initial adsorbent volume having an effective incremental adsorption capacity at 25° C. of greater than 35 grams n-butane/L between vapor concentration of 5 vol % and 50 vol % n-butane, and at least one subsequent adsorbent volume having an effective incremental adsorption capacity at 25° C. of less than 35 grams n-butane/L between vapor concentration of 5 vol % and 50 vol % n-butane, an effective butane working capacity (BWC) of less than 3 g/dL, and a g-total BWC of between 2 grams and 6 grams. The evaporative emission control canister system has a two-day diurnal breathing loss (DBL) emissions of no more than 20 mg at no more than 210 liters of purge applied after the 40 g/hr butane loading step.

摘要: A method of controlling an evaporative emissions system for a vehicle is provided. A fuel system for a vehicle and a vehicle are also provided. A signal indicative of an entry condition associated with a secondary air flow path for a purge of an evaporative emissions canister is received. A filter is decoupled from a port of the evaporative emissions canister in response to receiving the signal and prior to the evaporative emissions canister purge. The evaporative emissions canister is purged by flowing atmospheric air into the port and through the evaporative emissions canister while the filter is decoupled from the port. The filter is coupled to the port of the evaporative emissions canister after purging the canister.

摘要: Provided is an evaporated fuel treatment device configured to adsorb and desorb an evaporated fuel originating in a fuel tank. A first adsorption chamber is arranged in a flow passage. A second adsorption chamber is connected to the first adsorption chamber, and is arranged, in the flow passage, closer to an atmosphere port with respect to the first adsorption chamber. A first adsorption layer is arranged within the first adsorption chamber, and adsorbs the evaporated fuel. A second adsorption layer is arranged within the second adsorption chamber, and adsorbs the evaporated fuel. A sectional area of the second adsorption layer perpendicular to a direction in which the evaporated fuel flows through the second adsorption layer being larger than a sectional area of the first adsorption layer perpendicular to a direction in which the evaporated fuel flows through the first adsorption layer.

摘要: An evaporative emissions control system configured to recapture and recycle emitted fuel vapor on a vehicle fuel tank is provided. The control system includes a first and second vent tube disposed in the fuel tank, a first and second vent valve, a vent shut-off assembly, a purge canister and a control module. The vent shut-off assembly selectively opens and closes the first and second valves to provide overpressure and vacuum relief for the fuel tank. The control module regulates operation of the vent shut-off assembly based on operating conditions to vent the first and second vent valves to the purge canister. The vehicle fuel tank comprises a saddle tank having first and second lobes and a raised portion arranged generally at a top portion of the fuel tank. The first vent valve is arranged generally in the first lobe and the second vent valve is arranged in the raised portion.

The backpressure chamber is not directly opened to an outside of the diaphragm valve. A control valve device may control a pressure within the backpressure chamber of the diaphragm valve.
