摘要: An internal combustion engine includes a cylinder block including a cylinder, a cylinder head including an intake port, the intake port communicating with the cylinder, an intake manifold fixed to the cylinder head, the intake manifold being configured to supply intake air into the cylinder, and a dynamic vibration absorber configured to suppress vibration of the intake manifold. A direction that is orthogonal to both a central axis of the cylinder and a rotational axis of a crankshaft of the internal combustion engine is defined as a width direction. The dynamic vibration absorber is attached to the intake manifold on an opposite side of a center of gravity of the intake manifold from the cylinder head in the width direction.

摘要: A fluid conducting system for transport of a fluid has a housing with an inlet for the fluid and an outlet for the fluid. A sensor is arranged in the housing or protrudes from an exterior into the housing and measures a mass flow or a volume flow of a fluid flow that is flowing through the housing from the inlet to the outlet. A filter element is arranged upstream of the sensor in the housing. A fluid channel section has an inlet cross section and an outlet cross section, wherein the fluid channel section is arranged upstream of and in front of the sensor and the outlet cross section adjoins the sensor. The fluid channel section has a tapering cross section tapering from the inlet cross section toward the sensor and accelerating at least a portion of the fluid flow and conducting the fluid flow to the sensor. The tapering cross section of the fluid channel section tapers constantly at least in an area of the outlet cross section in front of the sensor.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to an exhaust scavenging system for an engine system including an engine enclosed in an engine enclosure and an air intake system including an air filter having a filter element for filtering air. The exhaust scavenging system includes an exhaust conduit, a venturi, and a valve system. The exhaust conduit is coupled to the engine and is configured to receive exhaust gas discharged by the engine. The venturi is associated with the exhaust conduit and operates to generate a suction to draw air from the air filter and the engine enclosure. The valve system is configured to selectively fluidly connect the venturi with the engine enclosure or the air filter. The valve system fluidly connects the venturi with the air filter for facilitating purging of the filter element of the air filter.

摘要: An intake manifold made of synthetic resin includes first, second and third members stacked in sequence and welded to form the intake manifold; a collector extending inside the intake manifold in a direction of a line of cylinders, a part of wall of the collector being formed by the third member; a plurality of branch passages formed substantially by the first and second members and wound around an outer periphery of the collector; and a connector passage leading from the collector to an outer peripheral side of the branch passage. The first, second and third members are respectively provided with first, second and third cylinder portions that are coaxially arranged with each other in a position between adjacent two branch passages. The connector passage is formed by the first, second and third cylinder portions with the connector passage communicating with an inside space of the collector.

摘要: An intake system of an engine includes an engine and an intake manifold. The intake manifold defines individual intake air passageways each connecting one of cylinders to a volume chamber. Each of the individual intake passageways includes a first route and a second route. The first route has a natural frequency, of an air column, synchronized with a first revolution higher than an engine revolution for maximum torque such that a dynamic supercharging effect is obtained at the first revolution. The second route has a natural frequency, of an air column, synchronized with a second revolution higher than the engine revolution for maximum torque such that a dynamic supercharging effect is obtained at the second revolution. The second revolution differs from the first revolution. A difference between the first and second revolutions is set lower than or equal to 15% of a maximum engine revolution.

摘要: A compressor assembly having a high velocity muffler system which produces a particle-free compressor pump feed while reducing noise output from the compressor assembly during compressing operations. The high velocity muffler system is maintenance-free and comprises an inertia filter. The compressor assembly uses a method for producing a compressor pump feed and reducing noise during compressing operations by processing a gas through the high velocity muffler system which has an inertia filter and a muffler chamber to produce a compressor pump feed which can be compressed by a pump assembly.

摘要: An intake system includes an air cleaner arranged behind the cross member with a shock absorber supporting portion supporting an upper end of a rear shock absorber unit connected to an engine main body in such a manner wherein a straddling portion is curved in a shape convex upwardly to straddle the cross member and also the shock absorber supporting portion from above. A fuel injection valve for the intake system is arranged in front of the cross member. An intake passage is formed to extend linearly downwardly and to the front toward an intake port at a downstream side of a straddling portion. An upper portion of a passage forming member forming at least a part of the straddling portion by forming an apex part of the straddling portion is provided with a second fuel injection valve attached with its fuel injection direction directed to the intake port.
