摘要: Methods and compositions for depositing a monolayer onto a surface of a substrate are described. The method can include contacting the surface with a vapor phase comprising a carbene source, and reacting a carbene group from the carbene source with a functional group on the surface, to obtain a covalently bound monolayer on the surface of the substrate. The carbene source can be a diazirine compound. The functional group on the surface can be a C—H containing group, a Si—H containing group, among others, or combinations thereof. The method can further involve removing physisorbed molecules from the surface of the substrate.

摘要: A method of decoding a coherent RGB color barcode captured by a RGB camera includes: displaying a coherent RGB color barcode on the RGB display; capturing an image of the displayed barcode; performing a pilot block RGB color interference cancellation process to estimate a per pixel color interference; applying the per pixel color interference to the image of the displayed coherent RGB color barcode to extract each separate barcode of the coherent RGB color barcode; binarizing each of the three separate monochrome grey images of each barcode of the coherent RGB color barcode; and decoding each of the three separate binarized monochrome grey images to provide a decoded data for each barcode of the coherent RGB color barcode displayed on the RGB display. A method of decoding an incoherent RGB color barcode captured by a mobile device RGB camera is also described.

The method further includes receiving, by the resistive memory array, a second data, wherein the receiving comprises applying at least one of a current and a voltage based on the second data on the plurality of cells. The method still further includes determining, by the resistive memory array, an initial unknown value, the initial value based on the first data and the second data.

摘要: The capacity to measure nanoscale features rapidly and accurately is of central importance for the monitoring of manufacturing processes in the production of computer integrated circuits. It is known that far-field scattered light requires a priori sample information in order to reconstruct nanoscale information such as is required in semiconductor metrology. Parameters of interest include, for example, trench depth, duty cycle, wall angle and oxide layer thickness. We describe a scatterometry apparatus and method that uses unconventional polarization states in the pupil of a high NA objective lens, and refer to this as focused beam scatterometry, in which the illumination consists of a focused field with a suitably tailored, spatially-varying polarization distribution. We describe how four or more parameters can be measured and distinguished with an accuracy consistent with the needs laid out in the semiconductor roadmap.

摘要: According to aspects illustrated herein, there is provided an agent that transiently disrupts claudin-1 within tight junctions. The agent includes a peptide having at least 40% polar, uncharged amino acid residues and a self-assembled β-sheet secondary structure. According to aspects illustrated herein, there is also provided a transepithelial drug and vaccine formulations, as well as isolated peptides, pharmaceutical compositions, and transdermal delivery devices. Also described herein are methods of disrupting epithelial barrier and methods of administering the transepithelial formulations described herein.

摘要: Methods for aligning images captured by aerial imaging platforms with a road network described by geo-referenced data, including the steps of: (a) identifying locations of moving vehicles in at least one image; (b) estimating a coordinate transformation that aligns the identified locations with the road network described by the geo-referenced data; and (c) outputting the estimated coordinate transformation or applying the estimated coordinate transformation to at least one image to align the image(s) with the road network described by the geo-referenced data. The methods may classify post-transformation detection as on-road detections or non-on-road detections to improve accuracy and synergistically use transformations and proximity to the road network to improve vehicle detection. The methods may identify vehicle trajectories to further improve accuracy and synergistically use transformations and proximity to the road network to improve estimates of vehicle trajectories.

摘要: An object, such as a tumor from a breast lumpectomy, is placed into an object positioning device that can hold the object without deforming it. Such a device can include a container with a deformable foam, gel, or other material. The object positioning device is moved into an imaging device. Images of the object within the object positioning device are acquired by the imaging device. The acquired images are stored, processed, or output on a display device. Information about the spatial orientation of the object with respect to a reference object is preserved.
