摘要： A 1×N2 wavelength selective switch (WSS) configuration in which switch elements are configured in a way that enables the input or output fibers to be arranged in a two-dimensional (2D) array. By employing 2D arrays of input/output channels, the channel count is increased from N to N2 for wavelength selective switches. In one embodiment, in which the components are arranged as a 2-f imaging system, a one-dimensional (1D) array of mirrors is configured such that each mirror has a dual scanning axis (i.e., each mirror can be scanned in X and Y directions). In another embodiment, in which the components are arranged as a 4-f imaging system, two 1D arrays of mirrors are configured with orthogonal scanning directions. In both embodiments, the number of ports is increased from N to N2.

The light source device includes a light-emitting element (21), and an optical guiding member (20) that is hollow and has a reflective surface. The reflective surface receives light rays emitted by the light-emitting element, and guides the light rays out from a plurality of generally aligned through holes (23) defined in a front light-emitting surface (28) of the optical guiding member. The light guide plate has a light incident surface adjacent to the light source device. The planar light source device can greatly diminish possible dark regions on the light-emitting surface of the light guide plate, and provide uniform illumination for an LCD.

摘要： The present invention relates to a compress and position apparatus with positioning, orientating functions and providing more uniform pressing force compliantly. The compress and position apparatus comprises a guiding column, a base, a housing, a seat, a annular portion and a pressing plate. The base has a cylinder, a plurality of locating pins and a convex portion. The annular portion has a through hole and a plurality of locating holes. The guiding column and the cylinder are disposed in the housing provided with an opening for the guiding column passing therethrough. The housing is mounted on the base and passed through a through hole of the annular portion and disposed in a cavity of the seat. A plane on the housing abuts a plane on the cavity to prevent the rotation of the housing. The guiding column is combined with the seat. The locating pin is inserted into the locating hole. The pressing plate engages the annular portion. Thus the guiding column is moved up and down by the gas supply device. The convex portion biases the pressing plate to exert force on the substrate.

The current capacity per unit area of the positive and negative electrodes each are at least 3 mA-h/cm2, the total area specific impedance for the cell is less than about 20 Ω-cm2, and the positive electrode has an area specific impedance r1 and the negative electrode has an area specific impedance r2, and wherein the ratio of r1 to r2 is at least about 10.
