摘要: Methods and systems for monitoring use, determining risk, and pricing insurance policies for a vehicle having one or more autonomous or semi-autonomous operation features are provided. According to certain aspects, the operating status of the features, the identity of a vehicle operator, risk levels for operation of the vehicle by the vehicle operator, or damage to the vehicle may be determined based upon sensor or other data. According to further aspects, decisions regarding transferring control between the features and the vehicle operator may be made based upon sensor data and information regarding the vehicle operator. Additional aspects may recommend or install updates to the autonomous operation features based upon determined risk levels. Some aspects may include monitoring transportation infrastructure and communicating information about the infrastructure to vehicles.

摘要: A method for model-based predictive control (MPC) of a motor vehicle includes executing an MPC algorithm having a high level solver module, a longitudinal dynamics model, and a cost function dedicated to the high level solver module. By executing the high level solver module for an upcoming route segment while taking the longitudinal dynamics model into account, a speed trajectory is calculated that minimizes the cost function, according to which the motor vehicle is to travel within a prediction horizon. The method includes sending the speed trajectory to a human-machine interface as an input value, processing the speed trajectory to obtain a control signal in the human-machine interface, and outputting the control signal to a driver of the motor vehicle with the human-machine interface, such that the driver can control the motor vehicle in accordance with the control signal.

摘要: A system for detecting and warning a user of an object in a path of a vehicle includes a detection module configured to detect an object in a path of a vehicle, and a control module in communication with the detection module. The control module is configured to receive vehicle data from one or more vehicle sensors, determine a height of the detected object, determine a ground clearance of the vehicle based on the received vehicle data, and in response to the height of the detected object being greater than a threshold based on the ground clearance of the vehicle, generate a signal to notify the user of the detected object. Other examples systems and methods for detecting and warning a user of an object in a path of a vehicle are also disclosed.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for providing energy consumption feedback for powering a transport climate control system using external data. This can include determining whether an energy level of an energy storage source is greater than an expected energy consumption of a transport climate control system during a route, based on route parameters and route conditions. The route conditions may be obtained from a source such as a remote server, and include data such as weather data, traffic data, or the like. The systems and methods may further compare current energy levels to an updated predictions of energy consumption during transit to determine if the energy level is sufficient to complete the route and alert the user when the energy level is insufficient to complete the route.

摘要: A vehicular control system includes a plurality of sensors disposed at a vehicle and an electronic control unit (ECU). The vehicular control system, responsive to processing at the ECU of sensor data captured by one of the plurality of sensors, detects an object in the path of the vehicle. The object may be one selected from the group consisting of (i) a pothole, (ii) road debris, and (iii) a speed bump. The ECU, responsive to detecting the object in the path of the vehicle, provides an output to another ECU. The other ECU, responsive to receiving the output, controls two or more of (i) braking of the vehicle, (ii) steering of the vehicle, and (iii) suspension of the vehicle.

The processor is configured to convert a manual driving mode into the autonomous driving mode when the current location of the driver's seat is within the safety area or when a request for conversion into the autonomous driving mode is input while driving in the manual driving mode, and move the current location of the driver's seat into the safety area and convert the manual driving mode into the autonomous driving mode when the current location of the driver's seat is not within the safety area.
