摘要: A system and method for providing a third generation social network. The system provides processes that allow physical objects to be represented as social objects in the social network. A user may then interact with the social objects. These interactions allow the system to collect the content of the interactions of a particular user. The content of the interactions may then be analyzed and used to direct specific content to specific users that may have an interest in the specific content as indicated by the content of the interactions of those users. Furthermore, the system provides a method for associating data with a shape in an image to allow a user and/or groups of users to interact with the image.

摘要: The present invention consists of an improved System and Method for managing and operating a company on a global basis wherein company data, income, costs and expenditures may be assigned down to the level of Practice Group, Sub Practice Group, a Timekeeper or Local Profit Center. In lieu of managing a company by the top down from a main parent Global Corporation, an International company is managed horizontally by grouping workers into categories, and then managing those workers across Local Worker Groups, then Regional and then National. In such a manner, the company may run reports to show optimal profitability and management of workers.

摘要: A system and method for geosteering comprising receiving at least a portion of a well plan comprising planned markers associated with one or more geological formations; and receiving, from a marker archive, baseline markers associated with the geological formations having a wellbore previously drilled therein, where each planned marker is associated to at least one baseline marker. Further comprising receiving formation information during drilling of a well; identifying a marker from the formation information by comparing the planned markers to the formation information for a match; comparing the identified marker to a baseline marker associated with the planned marker to determine a difference between the identified marker and the baseline marker; and responsive to the difference falling outside of a threshold range, automatically sending one or more control signals to one or more drilling rig control systems to adjust drilling of the well in accordance with the baseline marker.

摘要: A system for providing discharge monitoring of a firearm includes a first sensor, a trigger pull sensor assembly, an event detection module and a display. The first sensor senses a first acceleration along a first axis and sends a first input signal. The trigger pull sensor assembly senses mechanical movement of a trigger of the firearm, and communicates a second input signal corresponding to a position of the trigger. The event detection module receives the first input signal and compares the first acceleration to an acceleration threshold indicative of a shot; receives the second input signal and determines whether the second input signal is satisfies a second threshold indicative of a shot; determines whether a discharge has occurred based on both the first signal satisfying the acceleration threshold and the second input signal satisfying the second threshold; and generates an event detection signal based on the determination.

摘要: A method for determining a performance metric based on a discharge event of a firearm is provided. A plurality of first input signals over a sample window of time from a first inertial measurement unit (IMU) configured on the first firearm are received by a first event detection module associated with the first firearm of a first user. An occurrence of a first shot discharge of the first firearm at a first time based on the plurality of first input signals is identified by the first event detection module. An occurrence of a second shot discharge of the first firearm at a second time based on the plurality of first input signals is identified by the first event detection module. A first split time is determined for the first user based on a difference between the first and second times.

摘要: A method for determining a discharge event of a firearm includes receiving by an event detection module, (i) acceleration input signals over time including first acceleration input signals along a first axis, a second acceleration input signals along a second axis and a third acceleration input signals along a third axis; and (ii) rotation input signals over the time including first rotation input signals around the first axis, a second rotation input signals around the second axis and a third rotation input signals around the third axis. A sample event candidate is generated based on the plurality of acceleration and rotation input signals over the time. The sample event candidate is compared to a stored data collection of acceleration and rotation inputs known to represent at least one state of a user of the firearm. A state of the user is determined based on the comparing.

摘要: Techniques for creating and managing wagers on possible states within a live event, such as possible outcomes of subparts of a sporting event or other possible occurrences within the event. An initial state and multiple possible future states of a performance parameter of the event are determined based on state information of the event. A betting market may be created by determining probabilities and odds for the possible future states. Bets may be made on the possible future states via a touch-sensitive display. A payout may be made to a winner who selects a possible future state that actually occurs.

摘要: A system and method for recommending a corrective action based on a performance metric related to a discharge event of a firearm is provided. The method includes receiving, by a first event detection module associated with a first firearm, a plurality of first input signals over a sample window of time from a first inertial measurement unit configured on the first firearm; identifying, by the first event detection module, an occurrence of a first shot discharge of the first firearm at a shot time based on the plurality of first input signals; determining a first orientation of the first firearm at the shot time; determining a second orientation of the first firearm at a first time before the shot time; comparing the first and second orientations; determining a first performance metric related to pre-shot weapon orientation; and displaying a first recommended corrective action based on the first performance metric.

摘要: A method providing discharge monitoring of a firearm includes a signal processing module and a safety selector switch sensor. The event detection module has at least one sensor that senses an acceleration and generates an acceleration signal. The signal processing module receives the acceleration signal and is configured to determine whether the acceleration signal is a discharge event and generate an event detection signal based on the determination, the signal processing module further configured to maintain a shot count of the firearm based on the determination that the event detection signal is a discharge event. The safety selector switch sensor communicates with a safety switch configured on the firearm, and communicates a safety switch signal to the signal processing module corresponding to a position of the safety switch. The event detection signal is further based on the safety switch signal.
