Abstract: A method for securely accessing legacy data includes associating a first user account with a security token upon reception of the security token by an enterprise server from a security token service. The security token from the enterprise server is directly communicated to a legacy access provider. The legacy access provider is caused to initiate communication over a network directly with the security token service to request that the security token service authenticate the security token.
