The system further includes a radar absorbing material positioned to receive electromagnetic waves transmitted from the transmitter component that are not directed toward the ROI, and a pattern recognition device having a processor configured to process the electromagnetic waves reflected from the ROI and to determine whether an object-of-interest (OOI) pattern is recognized within the object data.

摘要: An ultra-wideband sensor transmits impulse radio signals at different times and generates respective channel impulse responses that describe a respective reflected signal as a function of a path delay. The channel impulse responses are used to generate a time-variant channel impulse response in which the channel impulse responses are arranged according to the times of transmission of the respective associated impulse radio signals. At least one respective local maximum of the scatter function quantity, characterized by a respective Doppler frequency and a respective path delay, is detected in scatter functions of respective time windows. A predetermined selection method is used to select at least one local maximum as the respective observation maximum to be tracked for motion detection. A signal characteristic of the channel impulse response is generated for the respective observation maximum to be tracked and a predetermined motion detection method detects at least one predetermined movement.

摘要: The present invention provides an in-vehicle passenger detection system and method using an Ultra-Wide Band radar. The present invention processes the values collected using an Ultra-Wide Band radar in the time domain, so that it is possible to detect passengers in a vehicle faster than the time required to process the collected values in the frequency domain using a conventional Ultra-Wide Band radar. Also, the present invention detects a large motion, such as a passenger's hand or foot movement in a vehicle, and a small motion, such as a passenger breathing quietly, using separate data processing procedures, respectively, so that faster and more accurate passenger detection is possible.

摘要: According to an embodiment of the present invention: in order to track an accurate location of an asset, an asset location, which is a location of an asset terminal installed in the asset to be tracked, is measured; a relative location of the asset terminal, which is based on a reference terminal, is measured through communication between the reference terminal and the asset terminal; and the asset location is corrected using the relative location. Based on this, the present invention minimizes a measurement error of an asset location, compared to a scheme of measuring an asset location by using only GPS communication.
