    Abstract: A lighting unit for a display apparatus for use in a motor vehicle is disclosed herein. The lighting unit includes a light transmitting panel configured to transmit light rays through to a viewing side of a display apparatus; and at least one light source operable to emit light rays across a breadth of the light transmitting panel. the light transmitting panel further comprises a reflector foil sheet applied to at least two sides of the light transmitting panel with no air gaps therebetween. A vehicle display for mounting within an interior of a motor vehicle comprising such a lighting unit, and a method of optimizing light rays for illuminating a display apparatus for use in a motor vehicle is also disclosed.

    Abstract: An electrohydraulic brake control device (200) for a motor vehicle for at least four hydraulically actuatable wheel brakes (8a-8d), said brake control device comprising an electrically actuatable pressure source (2), an electrically actuatable inlet valve (6a-6d) for each wheel brake, an electrically actuatable outlet valve (7a-7d) for each wheel brake, and a brake supply line (13), to which the at least four inlet valves (6a-6d) are connected, wherein an electrically actuatable circuit separation valve (40) is arranged in the brake supply line (13) in such a way that, when the circuit separation valve (40) is closed, the brake supply line (13) is hydraulically separated into a first line section (13a) and a second line section (13b), wherein the brake control device (200) comprises at least four hydraulic wheel ports (9a-9d) for connection to the wheel brakes (8a-8d), wherein the brake control device (200) comprises a first hydraulic port (62) for connection to a pressure medium reservoir (4) and a second hydraulic port (61) for connecting a further pressure source (5) to the brake control device (200), wherein the first line section (13a) of the brake supply line (13) is hydraulically connected to the electrically actuatable pressure source (2) and at least two of the at least four inlet valves (6a, 6b), and the second line section (13b) of the brake supply line (13) is hydraulically connected to the second hydraulic port (61) and the other of the at least four inlet valves (6c, 6d), and a brake system for a motor vehicle comprising such a brake control device (200).

    Abstract: A processing method for adjustment of at least one seat in a vehicle includes a preliminary adjustment step and a secondary adjustment. The preliminary adjustment step includes obtaining at least one preliminary sensory signal from at least one sensor positioned relative to the seat and generating at least one general control signal by determining a suitable seat adjustment model based on the preliminary sensory signal. The general control signal is communicable for use for preliminary adjustment of the seat. The secondary adjustment step includes obtaining at least one fine-tuning sensory signal from the sensor, determining delta data based on the fine-tuning sensory signal and the suitable seat adjustment model and generating at least one fine-tuning control signal based on the delta data. The fine-tuning control signal is communicable for use for secondary adjustment of the seat.

    Abstract: An offset compensation device, a sensor device and a method for offset compensation for sensor signals are described. The offset compensation device comprises a shift register containing elements in a number, an averaging unit and a low-pass filter. The method involves storing sensor values in the shift register, calculating a difference between the first element of the shift register and the last element of the shift register, determining multiple mean values, determining the lowest signal level using the low-pass filter, determining the offset by calculating the difference between the lowest signal level and a reference current value, and correcting the sensor values using the determined offset. Determining the mean values comprises starting averaging when the difference between the first element of the shift register and the last element of the shift register is greater than a threshold value, and stopping when the difference is less than the threshold value.
