摘要: A chromogenic absorbent material for hemoglobin and glucose detection in an animal excretion is provided. The chromogenic absorbent material comprises a benzidine-type compound, an organic hydroperoxide, an oxidoreductase, a peroxidase, a pseudoperoxidase or a combination thereof, and a polysaccharide matrix, comprising: from about 10 wt % to about 32.5 wt % chemically or mechanically processed non-functionalized cellulose; from about 25 wt % to about 70 wt % pregelatinized starch (PGS); from 0 wt % to about 20 wt % guar gum; from 0 wt % to about 25 wt % methyl hydroxyethyl cellulose (MHEC); from 0 wt % to about 15 wt % hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC); and from 0 wt % to about 10 wt % carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC).

The devices and methods also determine (˜>50 Hz) the nucleotide base sequence of a polynucleotide under feedback control or using signals generated by the interactions between the polynucleotide and the nanopore. The invention is of particular use in the fields of molecular biology, structural biology, cell biology, molecular switches, molecular circuits, and molecular computational devices, and the manufacture thereof.

摘要: Provided is a means capable of measuring an analyte concentration with high accuracy without requiring fractionation of a biological component. The present invention relates to a method for measuring an analyte concentration in a specimen, including (1) preparing the specimen, (2) mixing a coloring reagent, an oxidoreductase, and a light-scattering adjustment reagent with the specimen to obtain an analysis sample having substantially the same scattered light as the specimen, and (3) measuring the analyte concentration by using the analysis sample.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a system for measuring a property of a sample comprising: a test strip for collecting the sample; a diagnostic measuring device configured to receive the test strip and measure a concentration of an analyte in the sample received on the test strip; and the diagnostic measuring device further comprising a processor programmed to execute an analyte correction for correcting a measurement of the sample due to one or more interferents, comprising: calculating an interferent impedance measurement including a magnitude measurement and a phase measurement using a difference identity to generate a sinusoidal signal with an amplitude proportional to the phase difference; and adjusting the measurement of the analyte in the sample using that the calculated interferent impedance measurement.

摘要: The invention includes method and materials designed to measure the material properties (e.g. thickness) of layers of material in a sensor using non-Faradaic EIS (Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy) methods. The methods are non-destructive, very sensitive and rapid. Typically in these methods, an AC voltage is applied to the desired material layer while the output current and therefore impedance is measured. This voltage can be applied in multiple frequencies in sweep mode in order to detect both the material and, for example, the thickness of the target material. In this way, EIS allows the characterization of properties of various layers of material disposed in devices such as electrochemical glucose sensors.
