Particles are also disclosed that are substantially spherical and have an ordered lamellar internal structure. In addition, polymers prepared from the curable, antimicrobial silsesquioxane-silica hybrids and co-monomers are disclosed.

The present invention relates to a method for separation of a polymer from a polymer solution or dispersion, wherein (i) a solution or dispersion of a polymer in an organic solvent is atomized by being brought into contact with water vapor in an atomizer container; (ii) the mixture obtained in the atomizer container is routed into a polymer degasification container and flows through same, wherein the organic solvent present in the polymer particles is driven at least partially out of the polymer particles due to the thermal contact between the polymer particles and the water vapor and transitions into the gas phase (iii) the mixture exiting from the polymer degasification container is routed into a phase separator (1) and the organic solvent present in the gas phase is separated from the polymer particles and the condensed water vapor; and (iv) the polymer particles and the condensed water vapor are routed into a phase separator (2) in order to separate the polymer particles from the condensed water vapor.

The present invention relates to a polymeric triarylmethane dye, a blue resin composition for a color filter including the polymeric dye, and a color filter using the resin composition. The blue resin composition of the present invention is highly soluble in solvents and has excellent luminance, contrast, heat resistance, and chemical resistance due to the use of the polymeric triarylmethane dye. Particularly, the blue resin composition exhibits higher luminance and contrast than blue resin compositions using existing pigments. In addition, the blue resin composition of the present invention has greatly improved heat resistance and chemical resistance compared to blue resin compositions using existing triarylmethane dye monomers.

Specifically, the method of producing an elastomer according to the present invention comprises a step of polymerizing ethylene, propylene, and optionally, a diene monomer in the presence of a catalyst composition containing a transition metal compound. The method of producing an elastomer according to the present invention makes it possible to prepare a high molecular weight, ethylene-propylene or ethylene-propylene-diene, elastic copolymer at a high temperature.

The multimodal polymer composition has an overall Mooney viscosity of less than 90 ML(1+4@125° C.), and each polymer fraction comprises an ethylene, C3-C10 alpha-olefin, non-conjugated diene polymer, wherein the first polymer fraction has a Mooney viscosity of greater than or equal to about 150 ML(1+4@125° C.), the second polymer fraction has a Mooney viscosity from about 20 to about 120 ML(1+4@125° C.). A process for making the multimodal polymer composition comprising a process utilizing two or more reactors in series is also disclosed.
