摘要: An unmanned autonomous vehicle assessment and reporting system may implement a crisscross boustrophedonic flight pattern for capturing images of a structure to develop a three-dimensional model of the same. Patch scan analysis of predefined sample sizes of the roof may be captured in a separate scan and/or as part of the crisscross boustrophedonic flight pattern. The crisscross boustrophedonic flight pattern may include integrated oblique image captures via structure-facing camera angles during approach portions of each pass of a boustrophedonic flight pattern, via structure-facing end passes, and/or via rounded structure-facing end passes. A crisscross boustrophedonic flight pattern may include two or more boustrophedonic flight patterns that are at angles relative to one another.

摘要: A method in a wireless communications device for transmitting current location information representing a current location of the wireless communications device. The method entails, from within a communication application executing on a processor of the wireless communications device, causing the wireless communications device to obtain the current location information representing the current location of the wireless communications device, including the current location information in a communication generated from within the communication application, and transmitting the communication that includes the current location information. The method optionally entails a further step of performing a reverse look-up of GPS coordinates representing the current location to determine address information for including in the communication. Location information, such as maps or URLs to maps can be sent directly from an e-mail application or instant messenger without having to separately launch a mapping application.

摘要: A method in a wireless communications device for transmitting current location information representing a current location of the wireless communications device entails engaging in a voice call with a communications device and, during the voice call: receiving input on a user interface of the wireless communications device; responsive to receiving the input, automatically launching an application that generates a message; obtaining, by the application, the current location information representing the current location of the wireless communications device from within the application; automatically including the current location information in the message; and transmitting the message to the communications device. The input is a press of a dedicated hotkey or a press of a combination of keys. The message is one of an email, an SMS message, a MMS message or an instant message.

摘要: A self-contained battery-operated device is fixedly mounted to a drone device in a plurality of drone devices. The first self-contained battery-operated device includes one or more processors, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a location detection device, a two-dimensional pixilated detector, and memory, all connected by a common bus. Time-stamped images of an environmental region are captured using the two-dimensional pixilated detector at a time when the drone device is airborne. For each of the captured time-stamped images, a respective set of meta data is obtained, which includes (1) rotational values obtained using the gyroscope, indicating a relative orientation of the self-contained battery-operated device with respect to a respective reference orientation at a time of image capture, and (2) location information obtained using the location detection device at a time of image capture. The time-stamped images and the respective sets of meta data are sent to a remote processing device.

摘要: Disclosed is a method of high-precision 3D reconstruction of existing railway track lines based on UAV multi-view images, including: acquiring initial data, acquiring a UAV image rail top centerline, calculating a rail top centerline based on a nonlinear least squares method, and calculating three-dimensional coordinates of the rail centerline. Based on the multi-view geometry principle in computer vision and photogrammetry, object space coordinates of the line can be directly calculated by using image information, which does not require outdoor workers to work online and can effectively improve the safety of railway operation line surveying and mapping. Therefore, this method has important engineering application value and application prospect.

A 3D model is constructed from an overlapping region in which at least two images obtained at different positions of the vehicle among the collection of images at least partially overlap. By comparing the 3D model to an aerial image, the position of the 3D model can be updated.
