In the drying step, the drying is made by using a dryer (X1) which includes: an end wall (21), an opposite end wall (22), a circumferential wall (23) and a rotation shaft (24) between these end walls, stirring means (25) provided in the rotation shaft (24) for stirring the water absorbing resin while moving the resin from the end wall (21) to the end wall (22), and stirring means (26) provided in the rotation shaft (24) between the stirring means (25) and the end wall (22) for stirring the water absorbing resin while moving the resin from the end wall (22) to the end wall (21).

    摘要: The apparatus includes a channel having an inlet end for receiving particulate material to be dehydrated and an outlet end for discharging the particulate material in a dehydrated condition. A screw conveyor rotatably mounted in the channel advances the particulate material while stirring the particulate material to enhance the release of water and noxious vapors. A fan creates an air current in the channel to entrain water and noxious vapors released by the particulate material. The vapors are directed toward a heating chamber which incinerates dangerous and odoriferous compounds as much as possible. The resulting gaseous media is directed through a passage in a heat-exchange relationship with the channel to elevate the temperature of the particulate material that is being processed and to cause same to release water and noxious vapors. The passage is isolated from the channel to avoid direct contract between the burned gases that are released in the atmosphere with yet unburned gases aspirated from the channel.

    摘要: A dryer densifier includes a hopper for receiving wet, dry and/or flaky thermoplastic waste material. The hopper feeds an auger barrel which is heated and insulated whereby material passing therethrough may be dried and fused together with other material. The auger barrel and screw are configured to leave sufficient space therebetween whereby heated vapors may pass along the length of the auger and exit to the atmosphere at the discharge end, and whereby the heated vapor may be collected by a vapor collecting hood. The material is discharged from the auger onto a shaker screen table where the fused and unfused materials are separated by the vibrating screen conveyor of the table. The unfused material is returned to the receiving hopper for further densification and the fused material is conveyed to a granulator, whereupon the dried and densified material is granulated.

    摘要: An improved method and apparatus for removing moisture from a wet material. The apparatus is of the type having: an elongated trough having at least one level for containing the material, the trough having an upward open portion, a downward closed portion, a feed end for receiving the material and a delivery end for discharge of the material; means, associated with the trough, for conveying the material contained in the trough from the feed end to the delivery end; a heat plate for generating a radiant heat mounted along substantially the entire length of the open portion of each level of the trough such that the material conveyed in each level of the trough is exposed to the radiant heat in order that a portion of the moisture in the material may be evaporated; means, operatively connected to the heat plate, for controlling the temperature of the heat plate in order that the radiant heat is generated in a controlled manner such that a desired temperature of the material throughout each level of the trough may be maintained; and means, associated with the trough, for collecting the moisture evaporated by the radiant heat. The heat plate is preferably electrically heated. The method for removing moisture from the wet material is performed by using the apparatus.
