    Abstract: A baffle, comprises: a sealing portion including a first sheet of flexible sheet material and a second sheet of flexible sheet material overlying the first sheet of flexible sheet material to define a stack, each of the first sheet and the second sheet including a base edge, a plurality of flaps extending from the base edge and a V-shaped notch between each adjacent pair of flaps, the plurality of flaps of the first sheet being aligned with the V-shaped notches of the second sheet in the stack; and a retainer coupled to the sealing portion, the retainer securing the first sheet and the second sheet along the base edges.

    Abstract: An atomizing spray dryer employs one or more stages defined by ultrasonic transducers in close proximity to a liquid feed opening forming a path of an atomization flow for producing uniform droplets from a close tolerance with the transducer. The atomization flow exits a gap between the transducer and an outer edge of the opening, such that the passed liquid is responsive to an oscillation of the transducer for forming the droplets. A conical or other suitably shaped transducer engages a substantially round liquid feed opening. Subsequent stages may include a circular, ring, or other suitable shape aligned to receive the atomization flow from a circumference of the conical base, or may also take any suitable shape, preferably to receive droplets directed by the first stage.

    Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and systems for a closed loop product drying process are disclosed. Heated dry air enters a drying chamber, extracts moisture from a product to be dried, and exits the drying chamber, cooler and wetter. A heat pump air handler dries and warms the air from the drying chamber exhaust, and returns it to the drying chamber, in a closed air loop. The heat pump air handler includes a dehumidifier means in the closed air loop flow path. The dehumidifier means removes entrained moisture from wet air exiting the drying chamber, reheats the air, and returns it to the drying chamber.

    Abstract: An electrode manufacturing facility includes a dryer, a first pipe, a solvent collection device, an outside air inlet pipe, a heat exchanger, and a second pipe. The first pipe sends an exhaust gas expelled from the dryer to the solvent collection device. The solvent collection device causes an organic solvent contained in the exhaust gas expelled from the dryer to dissolve into water to collect the organic solvent. The heat exchanger exchanges heat between the exhaust gas expelled from the dryer and the outside air inlet pipe. The second pipe is connected to a pipe to which the exhaust gas after having passed through the solvent collection device is expelled and to a portion of the outside air inlet pipe located upstream of the heat exchanger, and sends at least a portion of the exhaust gas after having passed through the solvent collection device to the outside air inlet pipe.
