摘要: A pyrolysis plant for the treatment of solid and liquid waste materials is described, comprising: a first section (100), suitable for carrying out a pyrolysis of this solid and liquid waste materials, this pyrolysis producing synthesis gas, syngas, and residual ash; a second section (200) adapted to carry out a separation of the lighter fraction of this ash, coal dust or carbon black, from the syngas, the lighter fraction being transported by the syngas; a third section (300), suitable for carrying out a fractional distillation of the syngas, obtaining the separation of the volatile fraction of the syngas from a bituminous residue, tar; a fourth section (400), adapted to carry out a recycling of the bituminous residue of the fractional distillation, for a further treatment; and a fifth final emergency section, including, in addition to safety pumps which will automatically intervene in the event of a system failure, all safety systems.

摘要: Process for gasifying an organic material, comprising the following steps: subjecting an organic material to a drying phase to reduce its humidity content and obtain dry organic material and steam, and extracting said steam; subjecting the dry organic material to pyrolysis and generating a pyrolysis gas and a carbonaceous solid residue from the dry organic material, the pyrolysis gas containing a tar fraction; separating the pyrolysis gas from the carbonaceous solid residue, wherein separating the pyrolysis gas comprises extracting the pyrolysis gas and conveying it separately from the carbonaceous solid residue generated by the pyrolysis; subjecting the pyrolysis gas to a thermochemical treatment; and, after the thermochemical treatment, causing the treated pyrolysis gas to penetrate through a reducing bed (31) composed of the carbonaceous solid residue generated by the pyrolysis, and producing a synthesis gas. Subjecting the pyrolysis gas to a thermochemical treatment comprises: subjecting the pyrolysis gas to a first combustion with a gasifying agent under sub-stoichiometric conditions by using ejecting nozzles (25) arranged below and upstream of the reducing bed (31), and obtaining the cracking of the tar fraction contained in the pyrolysis gas; and subjecting the pyrolysis gas to a second combustion introducing an additional gasifying agent in a chamber (20″) arranged above and downstream of the ejecting nozzles (25) and upstream of an interface (23) separating the chamber (20″) from the reducing bed (31), and completing the combustion of the tar fraction until the pyrolysis gas is fully converted to CO2, H2O(g) and heat.

摘要: A process and apparatus for gasification of biomass. Biogenic residue may be supplied to a heating zone to dry the biomass and allow the volatile constituents to escape to generate a pyrolysis gas. The pyrolysis gas is supplied to an oxidation zone and substoichiometrically oxidized there to generate a crude gas. The carbonaceous residue generated in the heating zone and the crude gas is partially gasified in a gasification zone. The gasification forms activated carbon and a hot process gas. The activated carbon and the hot process gas are conjointly cooled. The adsorption process during the conjoined cooling has the result that tar from the hot process gas is absorbed on the activated carbon in the cooling zone. A pure gas which is substantially tar-free is obtained. The tar-enriched activated carbon may be at least partly burned for heating the heating zone and/or the gasification zone.

摘要: Gasifiers for the gasification of solid carbon-based fuels are disclosed herein. An example gasifier includes an inlet chamber for introducing fuel into the gasifier and a pyrolysis region for pyrolyzing the fuel introduced into the vessel. The pyrolysis region includes first means for admission of a pyrolysis agent. The example gasifier also includes a combustion region for incinerating pyrolysis gases originating from the pyrolysis region, where the combustion region includes second means for admission of a gasifying agent. Also, the example gasifier includes a reduction region for gasifying carbonized fuel originating from the pyrolysis region, an outlet for collecting gases originating from the reduction region, and a region for collecting and discharging ashes. In addition, the example gasifier includes active transfer means to actively transfer solid material from the pyrolysis region to the reduction region. In some examples, the active transfer means is located between the pyrolysis region and the combustion region, and the active transfer means includes a transfer chamber to prevent a direct flow of the solid material from the pyrolysis region to the reduction region, where the transfer chamber is permeable to the pyrolysis gases.

摘要: A method and apparatus for gasifying raw material. The method includes feeding the raw material into an upper part of a fixed-bed gasifier, introducing the raw material from the upper part of the gasifier to a pyrolysis zone of the gasifier to form the fixed-bed and pyrolyzing the raw material in the presence of pyrolysis air to form a pyrolysis product. Introducing the pyrolysis product from the pyrolysis zone to a lower part of the gasifier, introducing primary air countercurrently to the lower part, carrying out a final gasification in a lower part of the gasifier in order to form a gasified gas. Introducing the gasified gas to a catalytic oxidation part and through a catalyst layer of the catalytic oxidation part, and reforming the gasified gas by way of the catalytic oxidation in the presence of reforming air in the catalytic oxidation part, forming a gaseous product.

摘要: A multiple stage synthesis gas generation system is disclosed including a high radiant heat flux reactor, a gasifier reactor control system, and a Steam Methane Reformer (SMR) reactor. The SMR reactor is in parallel and cooperates with the high radiant heat flux reactor to produce a high quality syngas mixture for MeOH synthesis. The resultant products from the two reactors may be used for the MeOH synthesis. The SMR provides hydrogen rich syngas to be mixed with the potentially carbon monoxide rich syngas from the high radiant heat flux reactor. The combination of syngas component streams from the two reactors can provide the required hydrogen to carbon monoxide ratio for methanol synthesis. The SMR reactor control system and a gasifier reactor control system interact to produce a high quality syngas mixture for the MeOH synthesis.

摘要: An outlet tube for a material transfer system. The outlet tube comprises a body and at least one restrictor. The body is adapted to be connected to a feed system. The body has an inner wall that defines an opening adapted to receive material from the feed system such that the body is adapted to allow a flow of the material through the opening and out of the tube. At least one restrictor extends inwardly from the inner wall of the body into the opening. The restrictor(s) is adapted to extend into the flow of the material to impede the flow. In addition, the restrictor(s) is configured to enable the material to flow around it to exit out of the tube.

摘要: A downdraft gasifier for producing a gaseous fuel to be used in an engine from a carbonaceous material with a pyrolysis module, a reactor module, and a heat exchanger system that cooperate to produce the gaseous fuel from the carbonaceous material and to extract particulates from the gaseous fuel from the reactor. The heat exchange system includes a first heat exchanger coupled to the dryer module that heats the carbonaceous material with the gaseous fuel output of the reactor module to dry the carbonaceous material; a second heat exchanger coupled to the pyrolysis module that heats the dried carbonaceous material with the exhaust from the engine to pyrolyze the dried carbonaceous material into tar gas and charcoal; and a third heat exchanger coupled to the reactor module that heats air used to combust the tar gas with the gaseous fuel output of the reactor module to preheat the air.

摘要: A system for producing a syngas from a biomass material. The system compacts a loose biomass material to form a compacted biomass material at an entrance of a reactor tube, and then heats the compacted biomass material within the tube to form ash and a fuel gas mixture. The fuel gas mixture is withdrawn from the tube and the ash is removed from the tube through an exit thereof. Ingress of air into the tube is inhibited by forming a plug of the biomass material at the entrance of the tube and a plug of ash at the exit of the tube. A neutral atmospheric pressure is maintained in the reactor tube relative to pressure outside the reactor tube by monitoring and adjusting a volumetric rate of the fuel gas mixture withdrawn from the reactor tube based on pressures at the entrance and the exit of the reactor tube
