    摘要: An internal combustion engine is provided equipped with an exhaust gas recirculating (EGR) system and means for internally cooling the exhaust gases by a spray of atomized water into the recirculated exhaust gases prior to ignition. The atomized water spray may be in the intake manifold or directly in the cylinder. The engine may employ spark or compression ignition. The internal combustion engine operates with compression ratios greater than 12:1 and lean air:fuel ratios. Also provided is a method for controlling the amount of exhaust gas recirculated in the engine, and for controlling the amount of water added. The inventive engines have elevated thermodynamic efficiencies and favorable NOx emissions.

When the injection pump element 2 is in a non-injection state, the plunger 26 is rotated circumferentially to such a rotational position that a purge groove 265 formed in an outer peripheral surface of the plunger 26 and a purge port 253 formed in an inner peripheral surface of the plunger barrel 25 are communicated to each other. The purge groove 265 is communicated to a fuel gallery 11 via a hole 263 and a notch 262. When the injection pump element 2 is in the non-injection state, the injection pipe 3 is communicated to the fuel gallery 11 even if the delivery valve 23 is closed.

    摘要: The present disclosure discloses a carburetor, including a fuel passage and an oil passing passage. The fuel passage communicates with the float chamber. The carburetor further includes a magnetic sleeve assembly, a magnet assembly and a thimble assembly. The magnetic sleeve assembly is fixed to a float base and a first end of the magnetic sleeve assembly extends into the oil passing passage and is connected to a body. The first end of the magnetic sleeve assembly includes a fuel passing hole and a passage, the fuel passing hole communicates with a float chamber. The passage communicates the oil passing passage. Both the thimble assembly and the magnet assembly are installed in the magnetic sleeve assembly. The thimble assembly is configured for cutting off the passage under driving of the magnet assembly to cut off a communication between the oil passing passage and the float chamber.

    摘要: In one example, a system for a vehicle travelling on a surface is described. The system includes an engine with a cylinder. The cylinder includes a fuel injector that is supplied with gaseous fuel and liquid fuel by a fuel delivery system. The fuel injector is mounted in the vehicle such that the fuel injector inlet faces at least partially toward the road surface. The orientation of the fuel injector enables a quick transition from liquid fuel to gaseous fuel because the gaseous fuel can rise to the injectors and be preferentially injected. Further, various approaches are described from transitioning operation between gaseous and liquid fuel injection.

A flow rate controlling apparatus heats and cools the fuel pipe leading the low boiling point fuel stored in the fuel storing container to the engine. A flow rate controlling apparatus adjusts the flow rate of the fuel in the fuel pipe for leading the low boiling point fuel stored in the fuel storing container to the engine.

    摘要: The invention relates to a fuel supply system (1) for injecting liquefied vapour under high pressure, such as liquid petroleum gas (LPG), into a combustion chamber (3-6) of an internal combustion engine (2). The fuel supply system (1) comprises a fuel supply for liquefied vapour connected to a high-pressure pump (11) via a duct. The high-pressure pump (11) has a high-pressure chamber (105) which is embodied thereby to increase the pressure of the liquefied vapour. A high-pressure discharge of the high-pressure pump (11) is connected to a high-pressure rail (7) which comprises one or several injectors for injecting liquefied vapour into a combustion chamber. According to the invention, the fuel supply system is provided with a discharge F unit (20) for purging fuel, in particular fuel vapour, between the high-pressure chamber and the combustion chamber.

The ratio of the center diameter L3 and the seat diameter L2 is L3/L2=2.5 mm/3.0 mm=about 0.833, and the ratio of the seat diameter L2 and the shaft diameter L1 is L2/L1=3.0 mm/3.25 mm=about 0.92.
