摘要: A load former includes a frame, a loading zone bounded on a first end by a stop wall having a stop surface lying in a plane and a rear wall at a rear side of the frame, and a cookie sheet slidably supported by the frame for travel along a path perpendicular to the plane. The path includes portions on first and second sides of the plane, and a portion of the cookie sheet in the second portion of the path defines a bottom of the loading zone. A platform extends over the first portion of the path, and a top wall is vertically spaced from the platform to define a storage space between the top wall and the platform. The storage space has a front opening so that it is accessible from the front of the load former.

摘要: A medium discharging device includes a discharge roller pair that discharges a medium, a discharge tray disposed below the discharge roller pair in a vertical direction and having a placement surface on which the discharged medium is placed, and a guide member that is advanced and retracted between an advanced position where the guide member is advanced inward in a width direction from opposite sides in the width direction intersecting a discharge direction of the medium and a retracted position where the guide member is retracted to an end portion position side in the width direction. When the guide member is disposed at the advanced position, an upstream side end portion of the guide member in the discharge direction is disposed between a discharge position by the discharge roller pair and a position of the placement surface of the discharge tray, in the vertical direction.

摘要: A method for rapidly stacking and dropping sheets is provided. The method comprises receiving a plurality of sheets from a sheet delivery device onto a landing platform of a stacking and dropping apparatus. The method also comprises lowering the landing platform from an original upper position. Lowering comprises maintaining a drop height between the sheet delivery device and a stack of delivered sheets. The method also comprises sending a delay signal that comprises a command to delay the receiving of the plurality of sheets from the sheet delivery device. The delay signal is sent in response to a detection of a predetermined stack height of the stack of delivered sheets. The method also comprises sending a movement signal, immediately following the sending of the delay signal. The movement signal comprises a command to move the landing platform, such that the plurality of sheets are received by a catch tray unit. The method also comprises dropping, utilizing the catch tray unit, the plurality of sheets onto a sheet receiving device. The method also comprises returning, automatically, the landing platform to the original upper position. The method also comprises sending a resume signal, that includes a command to the sheet delivery device to resume sheet delivery. The delay signal, movement signal and resume signal are sent by a central processor component of the stacking and dropping apparatus.

摘要: One example includes an apparatus comprising spaced apart rails, each of the rails including an opposing slot that extends longitudinally and parallel to each other and terminates at a stop located at an end of the rail. Support holders may attach to opposing sidewalls of a cassette body insertable between the rails. Elongated rods may link each rail and a corresponding one of the support holders. One end of each rod may fit in a respective slot to enable longitudinal movement of the rods relative to the rails, engagement between the one end of each rod and respective rail stop cooperating to enable rotation of the rods relative to the rails in a direction that is transverse to the longitudinal movement. Another end of each of the rods may be movably retained within a respective one of the support holders.

摘要: A dual-stage rapid sheet stacking system is provided. In one embodiment, the dual-stage rapid stacker comprises a landing platform and a first actuator configured to control a vertical position of the landing platform. A vertical position sensor is configured to monitor the vertical position of the landing platform. A CPU is configured to receive a signal from the vertical position sensor and, in response to the received signal, to send a corresponding command to the first actuator such that the first actuator maintains a minimum sheet drop distance. A sliding catch tray unit, is mounted on a plurality of suspension rails. The dual-stage rapid sheet stacking system comprises a second actuator configured to receive commands from the CPU to control a horizontal position of the sliding catch tray unit. The dual-stage rapid sheet stacking system is configured to stack a plurality of sheets on the landing platform and then discharge, a plurality of sheets through the sliding catch tray unit.

摘要: A device for forming stacks of piece goods batches, includes a movable transport device for transporting the piece goods batch. A feed device feeds the piece goods batch to the transport device. The transport device includes a support device which at least intermittently supports the piece goods batch and relative to which the piece goods batch can move and which can be removed essentially completely from a region located below the piece goods batch. The transport device includes at least one controllable fixing device for temporarily fixing an intermediate layer, wherein the fixing device for fixing the intermediate layer moves below the piece goods batch.

摘要: A sheet post-process apparatus includes a waiting tray and a processing tray. The waiting tray is provided in the middle of a conveying path and makes standby sheets in the case where a post-process is required. The processing tray has a function which causes the sheets made standby on the waiting sheet to be dropped by self-weight. With this function, the processing tray receives the sheets moved to be dropped and the sheets conveyed from the conveying path without intervening the waiting tray, before carrying out the post-process. Sheet bundles formed on the processing tray are stacked on a storage tray by a sheet conveying mechanism after they have been post-processed.

摘要: A guide deck for use with a sheet processing device having a paper path. The adjustable paper path guide deck apparatus includes a first roller proximal the input end and a second roller proximal to the output end. These rollers support a flexible sheet of non-permanently deforming material wrapped around them. The surface of the sheet forms a guide deck for the paper path. To adjust for different sized sheets, the guide deck is movable along a paper path direction while moving around the first and second rollers. A locking mechanism is coupled to the adjustable paper path guide deck apparatus for preventing the flexible sheet from moving around the first and second rollers when in a locked position, and allowing movement around the first and second rollers when in an unlocked position.
