摘要: An image formation apparatus according to an embodiment may include: a discharge unit configured to transport printed media from a discharge port to an outside; and a controller configured to cause the discharge unit (i) to perform a holding operation to hold a part of a first group of printed media corresponding to a first print pause sheet number set in a setting unit at the discharge port by the discharge unit, and (ii) when the part of the first group of printed media is removed from the discharge port, to transport a second group of printed media corresponding to a second print pause sheet number set in the setting unit from the discharge port toward the outside and to perform the holding operation to hold a part of the second group of the printed media with being exposed to the outside from the discharge port.

摘要: A liquid ejection head includes a nozzle plate including a nozzle that ejects a liquid, a pressure chamber that communicates with the nozzle, an actuator configured to vary a volume of the pressure chamber in response to a driving signal, and a drive circuit configured to generate the driving signal. The driving signal includes an ejection waveform for ejecting the liquid and causing: an expansion potential difference for expanding the volume of the pressure chamber, a contraction potential difference for contracting the volume of the pressure chamber, and one or more intermediate potential differences between the expansion potential difference and the contraction potential difference, and a cancellation waveform that includes a trapezoidal wave for suppressing residual oscillation after the ejection of the liquid.

摘要: In some examples, a printing press includes a non-impact printing device, and further includes a plurality of processing stations that each process sheets. In the printing press, at least one lifting nozzle is arranged in a profile element of a guide device. The lifting nozzle is configured to open in a direction of a tip of a tapered profile element. A suction belt feed table includes a catching device having a catching position, which is assumed as a result of an actuation, for adjacent individual sheets that follow one another. The catching device, in its catching position, catches sheets on the suction belt feed table that are fed from a first transport device, which is arranged upstream from the suction belt feed table, to the suction belt feed table, before the sheets are transferred to a transport device arranged downstream from the suction belt feed table and stacked there.

The control unit, in a case where the receiving unit receives the ejection instruction, controls the conveyance unit to eject the sheet to outside of the apparatus after a predetermined time has elapsed.

摘要: A printing device includes: a printing unit printing on a recording paper; a feeder unit having a roller that rotates about a shaft and feeds the recording paper and a motor that rotates the shaft; a detection unit detecting the rotation of the shaft; and a control unit controlling the printing unit. The control unit calculates an electrifying time during which the printing unit is electrified and a non-electrifying time during which the printing unit is not electrified following the electrifying time, based on a detection signal from the detection unit. When the calculated non-electrifying time is less than a predetermined time, the control unit corrects the non-electrifying time in such a way that the non-electrifying time becomes equal to or longer than the predetermined time, and causes the printing unit to print.

摘要: Provided is a technique that enables proper sorting of discharged print media by suppressing curling of each of the print media sufficiently. A determining unit determines a curling suppressing operation to be executed such that in a case where sorting operation is executed, the suppressing operation having a higher effect of suppressing curling is executed than in a case where the sorting operation is executed. Then, a print control unit controls a print head to perform printing on print media while executing the suppressing operation determined by the determining unit.

摘要: There is provided a printing apparatus including: a casing, an opening/closing part, a printing part, a processing unit and a shielding part. The casing has an opening. The opening/closing part is movable to a first position to a second position. The printing part has an installment part and prints an image on a print medium. The processing unit is arranged on a downstream side in a conveyance direction, of the print medium, with respect to the printing part and processes the print medium. The shielding part shields at least a part of the processing unit. When the opening/closing part is at the second position, the opening is capable of releasing a location above the installment part or a part, of the installment part. When the opening/closing part is at the second position, the shielding part shields at least the part of the processing unit.
