摘要: A medium conveying apparatus includes a loading tray to place media, a feed roller to separate and sequentially feed the media placed on the loading tray, a motor to drive the feed roller, a sensor located on a downstream side of the feed roller in a medium conveying direction to detect a medium, and a processor to control the motor. In a separation period from a start of medium feeding by the feed roller to detection of a front edge of the first medium by the sensor, when feeding a first medium of a plurality of media placed on the loading tray, the processor controls the motor to rotate the feed roller at a constant speed, and when feeding a second or subsequent medium, the processor controls the motor to rotate the feed roller at a first speed and then at a second speed higher than the first speed.

摘要: The present invention is a paper sheet transport system including: an air blowing device that generates an air flow for transporting paper sheets; a transport device that transports paper sheets with the air flow; and a control device that controls the air blowing device, and the control device includes a measuring unit that measures the speed of paper sheets on the transport device, and an adjusting unit that adjusts the air flow according to a result of the measurement. The control device includes a detecting unit that detects arrival of paper sheets at a deceleration region, and, when paper sheets in the deceleration region are faster than a specific speed, the adjusting unit causes the air blowing device to generate an air flow in an opposite direction to that of an air flow for transporting the paper sheets.

摘要: The invention relates to an apparatus, in particular a roll cross cutter, for forming a shingled stream of underlapping or overlapping sheets, in particular paper or cardboard sheets, comprising a transport device for transporting sheets, a shingling device for underlapping or overlapping of the sheets at least in some regions, a braking device following the shingling device in the transport direction of the sheets for braking of shingled sheets, in particular by the formation of a brake gap for the passage of sheets brought together in a shingled manner, and a cross-cutting device upstream of the shingling device for cutting a material strip into individual sheets. According to the invention, an intake section is provided between the shingling device and the braking device for intake and further transport of a sheet, trailing in the shingled stream, into the braking device.

摘要: A device for decelerating a transported and flat shaped product includes a brake operable by an air jet supplied by an air jet nozzle. The air jet nozzle is configured to impinge the air jet on a braking force implementing body to exert a braking force on the flat shaped product. The braking force implementing body includes: at least one first element, which has a physical structure for a return-flow of the air jet supplied by the air jet nozzle, and at least one second element, which for the braking force implementation is in an operative connection with the first element. The second element is configured to implement an impulse force caused by the air jet from the air jet nozzle. The impulse force results as the braking force onto the flat shaped product.

The first tray holds sheets for post-processing with respect to the sheets supplied from an image forming device. The outlet rollers discharge the sheet to the first tray. The control section controls a rotational speed of the outlet rollers to be decelerated after a leading end portion of the sheet passes through the outlet rollers and before the leading end portion of the sheet comes into contact with the first tray.

摘要: An apparatus and method for forming a stack with advertising material compilations respectively consisting of an envelope with inserts therein, and having a common, leading folded edge. The apparatus includes a feed conveyor, a transfer conveyor and a stacking device. The transfer conveyor comprises a central wheel that rotates around a first rotational axis, a carrier wheel that rotates around a second rotational axis oriented parallel to the first rotational axis, and a number of pivoting arms with respectively one gripper. The second rotational axis is arranged below a horizontal plane extending through the first rotational axis. The grippers are respectively positioned on the pivoting arm to rotate around an axis. The grippers take over the advertising material compilations in a takeover region from the feed conveyor, transfer the adverting compilations in a transfer region to the stacking device which extends into the transfer region and deposit these on the stacking device.

摘要: An apparatus for overlapping sheets and depositing them in a stack has a conveyor for transporting the sheets in a horizontal travel direction along a travel path toward a stacking region at a rapid feed speed. A braking device on the path upstream of the stacking region can grip the trailing edge of a one of the sheets. At least one supporting air bar extends above the path into the stacking region and has nozzles from which compressed air exits in the sheet travel direction. A suction belt above the travel path between the braking device and the stacking region is movable in the travel direction at least at the rapid feed speed and has suction ports that can be switched on and off cyclically.
