Abstract: A medium discharge device includes a discharge roller pair that is provided with a discharge driving roller and a discharge driven roller which drivably rotates in contact with the discharge driving roller, and a medium receiving tray which receives the medium that is fed and discharged by the discharge roller pair, in which the medium receiving tray includes a guide member which guides such that a tip end of the medium which is discharged from the discharge roller pair enters the medium mounting surface at a predetermined angle, and the guide member is provided to be elastically displaceable in an advancing and retreating direction with respect to the medium mounting surface of the medium receiving tray and is displaced in a direction coming close to the medium mounting surface according to raising of a pressing load due to the medium that is discharged to the medium receiving tray.

Abstract: A sheet discharge apparatus includes a first conveyance guide having a plurality of first ribs and rotatably supporting a drive roller, with the plurality of first ribs guiding a sheet, and a second conveyance guide to support a holder member movably in a separating direction where the holder member separates from the drive roller. The second conveyance guide includes a plurality of second ribs which form a conveyance path, together with the first ribs, through which the sheet passes, and a regulation portion to regulate movement of the holder member within a range of a first distance in the separating direction from a position where a driven roller is in contact with the drive roller, wherein the first distance is smaller than a second distance which is a distance between the first ribs and the second ribs in the separating direction.

Abstract: A main body frame of a multifunction machine has first and second frames of which surfaces parallel to a Z-axis face each other. A recording head is disposed between the first and the second frames and fixed to the main body frame. An ejection tray is fixed to the main body frame on a +Z direction with respect to the recording head. A scanner is fixed to the main body frame on the +Z direction with respect to the ejection tray and forms an ejection space with the ejection tray. The recording head performs recording on a medium which is being transported toward a first direction, which is an in-plane direction of the first frame. The ejection tray is configured to be removed toward a second direction, which is the in-plane direction of the first frame, in a state where the scanner is fixed to the main body frame.

Abstract: A sheet storing device of the present disclosure includes: an attaching part configured to attach a storage bag for a sheet; a moving part configured to move the sheet toward inside of the storage bag; a first guide part configured to make contact with an inner surface of the storage bag; and a second guide part configured to make contact with an outer surface of the storage bag, and sandwich the storage bag together with the first guide part. The first guide part comprises a first flat surface configured to make contact with the sheet moved by the moving part. The second guide part comprises a second flat surface configured to make contact with the outer surface of the storage bag such that the sheet moved by the moving part makes contact with a part of the inner surface of the storage bag. The first guide part and the second guide part are disposed such that the first flat surface and the second flat surface are located on the same plane.

In the sorting processing, when stacking a sheet at a first position, the control portion causes a first alignment member to ride on a top surface of the sheet and a first side edge of a second alignment member to make contact with the sheet, and, when stacking the sheet at a second position, causes the second alignment member to ride on the top surface of the sheet and the first side edge of the first alignment member to make contact with the sheet.
