    Abstract: A paper sheet processing device includes: an input unit into which paper sheets are input from the outside; an identification unit for identifying the paper sheets fed out from the input unit while allowing them to pass through in a first direction and identifying the paper sheets while allowing them to pass through in a second direction opposite to the first direction; a temporary storage unit for temporarily storing the paper sheets identified as being acceptable by the identification unit; a payout unit for accommodating the paper sheets identified as being unacceptable by the identification unit so as to be able to be taken out to the outside; and a storage unit for storing the paper sheets fed out from the temporary storage unit and identified by the identification unit while being allowed to pass through the identification unit in the second direction, wherein the paper sheets fed out from the temporary storage unit and identified by the identification unit while being allowed to pass through the identification unit in the second direction can be transferred to the input unit.

    Abstract: A sheet handling device includes: a first storage; a second storage using a storage method different form that of the first storage; a transporter that transports a sheet; and a controller that controls the transporter to transport the sheet. When the second storage is neither a transport source of the sheet nor a transport destination of the sheet, the controller controls the transporter to transport the sheet at a first speed. When the second storage is at least the transport source of the sheet or the transport destination of the sheet, the controller controls the transporter to transport the sheet at a second speed lower than the first speed.

    Abstract: In example embodiments described herein are various features for a dual cassette. In one embodiment, a push plate catch and release mechanism is employed that can prevent movement of the push plate when movement of the push plate is not being caused by a motor. In another example embodiment, there is described herein an adjustable rail system for a cassette where the rails are configured so that the rails are installed in the correct bracket and in the correct orientation. In yet another example embodiment, there is disclosed herein a multi-compartment cassette with a transport access door. The transport access door provides access to an internal transport of the cassette without providing access to the contents of the cassette.

    Abstract: Method (1) for storing a series of flexible documents in a system, the system comprising one storing and issuing module, one conveyor belt, configured for supporting and transporting the flexible documents toward the at least one storing and issuing module at known conveying speed vc(t), one sensor group, configured to sense any flexible document B(m) transported on the conveyor belt and provide corresponding sensing information, and a central processing unit, operatively connected to the sensor group and the at least one storing and issuing module.     Abstract: A sheet-type medium accumulating and separating device includes a frame and a paper pressing mechanism. The frame is provided with an storage cavity for accommodating sheet-type media.
