Abstract: The present invention provides a packaging apparatus for in-line packaging wrapping of a foldable blank around a receiving load that is simultaneously dropped onto the loading space of the foldable blank. The packaging apparatus includes a support means adapted to receive a supply of one or more foldable blanks. The support means includes a support frame supported onto two or more parallel longitudinal rails positioned generally transversal to a direction of supply of foldable blanks. The apparatus further includes an article loading mechanism to load a group of articles onto a loading space defined onto the foldable blank received onto the support means. The apparatus furthermore includes an erecting mechanism having a plurality of generally spaced apart vertical lugs, positioned onto one or more sides of the support frame, and at a height lower than the height of longitudinal rails such that a vertically upward movement of the lugs engages and erects at least one side of the foldable blank around the articles already loaded onto the foldable blank.

Abstract: An apparatus for the preparation of comestible-containing sandwich products comprises a sandwich product assembly station and corresponding means for the fabrication and assembly of a sandwich product in the vertical direction. The apparatus includes an extruder nozzle, wafer trays and corresponding components for the location of wafers on opposite sides of the extruded product, an indexing wheel for receiving the assembled sandwich product, and sandwich transporting means for moving the sandwich to a wrapping assembly and from there to a discharge end, wherein all of the components of the apparatus are mounted in cantilevered fashion on a vertical support or base member. Abstract: A plastic film sealing and packaging device includes a chassis, a conveyance device for conveying articles-to-be-packaged, at least one pair of plastic film conveyance trays, at least one plastic film sealing mechanism and at least one heat-shrinking device. The package plastic film is then sealed by the plastic film sealing mechanism.

Abstract: A food packaging system including a film dispensing device and a perforation device configured to create perforations in a film dispensed by the film dispensing device. The system also includes a wrapping device configured to wrap a food product in the film, and a controller configured to control the perforation device to produce a predetermined perforation pattern in the film.
