摘要: To provide a functional structural body that can realize a long life time by suppressing the decline in function of the functional substance and that can attempt to save resources without requiring a complicated replacement operation, and to provide a method for making the functional structural body. The functional structural body (1) includes a skeletal body (10) of a porous structure composed of a zeolite-type compound, and at least one functional substance (20) present in the skeletal body (10), the skeletal body (10) has channels (11) connecting with each other, and the functional substance is present at least in the channels (11) of the skeletal body (10).

摘要: Disclosed are passive NOx adsorbers and methods for synthesizing the same. Small-pore zeolitic materials with practical loadings of transition metals atomically dispersed in the micropores are described herein. Also demonstrated are simple and scalable synthesis routes to high loadings of atomically dispersed transition metals in the micropores of a small-pore zeolite.

摘要: A method of making BTX (benzene, toluene, xylene) compounds by feeding a heavy reformate stream to a reactor, where the reactor includes a composite zeolite catalyst, that contains a mixture of a desilicated mesoporous mordenite and ZSM-5, and in which the desilicated mesoporous mordenite, the ZSM-5, or both, comprise one or more impregnated metals. The composite zeolite catalyst is able to catalyze the transalkylation reaction and the dealkylation reaction simultaneously to produce the BTX compounds.

摘要: An oxidation catalyst composite, methods, and systems for the treatment of exhaust gas emissions from a diesel engine are described. More particularly, described is an oxidation catalyst composite including a first oxidation component comprising a first refractory metal oxide support, palladium (Pd) and platinum (Pt); a NOx storage component comprising one or more of alumina, silica, titania, ceria, or manganese; and a second oxidation component comprising a second refractory metal oxide, a zeolite, and Pt. The oxidation catalyst composite is sulfur tolerant, adsorbs NOx and thermally releases the stored NOx at temperature less than 350° C.

摘要: A method of forming composite zeolite catalyst particles includes combining a silicon source, an aqueous organic structure directing agent having a polyquaternary ammonium compound, water and an aluminum source to form a catalyst gel. The method also includes heating the catalyst gel to form the composite zeolite catalyst particle having an intergrowth region with a mixture of both Mordenite crystals and ZSM-5 crystals. An associated method of making xylene includes feeding heavy reformate to a reactor, the reactor containing the composite zeolite catalyst particles, and producing xylene by simultaneously performing dealkylation and transalkylation of the heavy reformate in the reactor, where each composite zeolite catalyst particle is able to catalyze both the dealkylation and transalkylation reactions.
