    摘要: The present invention relates to a connection fitting for the connection of a ring with at least one consumer to a storey or rising main branch with inlet and outlet openings (2, 4) which can be connected to the branch and an intervening merge opening (34) for the ring main which is preceded in the flow direction (S) by a cross-section constriction (16). The present invention also relates to a water pipe system with at least one storey or rising main branch to which several ring mains are connected via separation and merge openings and a cross-section constriction provided between the separation and merge openings of the assigned ring main in the branch. The object of the present invention is to specify a connection fitting which leads to improved flow characteristics in the region of the ring main assigned to the connection fitting and to provide a water pipe system which fulfills the practical requirements in an improved manner. With this invention the object is solved by suggesting a connection fitting and a water pipe system of the prior known type, which are characterized in that they comprise means (12, 28) for varying the passage area of the cross-section constriction (V).

    摘要: A device for the protection against the rupture of pipes carrying a fluid includes two or more flow channels and a closing element which interrupts the flow of fluid if a predetermined permissible volume flow is exceeded. At least one of the flow channels can be closed by a test closure in order to increase the flow speed in the remaining flow channels and for test purposes to bring about a movement of the closing element into the closing position. In this way, devices for the protection against the rupture of pipes integrated into complex systems carrying a fluid can be tested in situ to verify their proper functioning.

The diverter has an upstream inlet port (104) along the distribution line and a downstream outlet port (106) along the distribution line. The diverter has a supply port (108) downstream of the inlet port and a return port (110) downstream of the supply port. The diverter has a flow restriction (112; 112′; 216) between the supply port and the return port. Each delivery station includes a flow control valve (56′) between the outlet on the one hand and the supply port and return port on the other hand.

    摘要: A temperature control system for a gas appliance utilizes an improved variable orifice gas flow modulating valve (10) capable of direct modulation of gas flow through an orifice (20) directly into a gas burner (54) to provide a constantly maintained temperature in an appliance working compartment, as selected by human interface via a temperature selector. An actuator (12) attached to a gas fitting body (14) of the valve provides for linear movement of a metering pin (16) into the taper inside the orifice, accomplishing the variable controlled modulated flow of gas directly into the burner. The actuator (12) is controlled by an input signal from a programmable controller (90) whose output is determined by calculations based on inputs from a temperature selector and a temperature sensor located in the gas appliance working compartment.

A flow control valve has a second body integral with the first body. A pipe joint has a third body which has a second fluid inlet/outlet port defined in an end thereof and, the third body being integral with the second body. A flow adjustment screw is disposed in the flow control valve and extends into a fluid passage which interconnects the first fluid inlet/outlet port and the second fluid inlet/outlet port, for adjusting a rate of flow of a fluid under pressure in the fluid passage. A valve body is disposed in the pilot check valve for opening a fluid passage which interconnects the first fluid inlet/outlet port and the second fluid inlet/outlet port in response to a pilot fluid pressure supplied from the pilot port.
