One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for bypass flow filtering. A bypass valve filter includes at least one wall configured to engage a surface of a bypass valve and a filter surface having a plurality of openings between an inside of the at least one wall and an outside of the at least one wall. One or more openings of the plurality of openings have a first size and one or more other openings of the plurality of openings have a second size, wherein the first size is different than the second size to define different levels of filtering. The bypass valve further includes an open end configured to allow fluid flow therethrough and to the plurality of openings.

A high purity water delivery system has a reservoir (40) of purified water. A distribution line (42) extends downstream from an outlet (44) of the reservoir to a return (46) of the reservoir. A plurality of delivery stations each include an outlet (54′) and a diverter (102; 102′; 102″; 102′″). The diverter has an upstream inlet port (104) along the distribution line and a downstream outlet port (106) along the distribution line. The diverter has a supply port (108) downstream of the inlet port and a return port (110) downstream of the supply port. The diverter has a flow restriction (112; 112′; 216) between the supply port and the return port. Each delivery station includes a flow control valve (56′) between the outlet on the one hand and the supply port and return port on the other hand.

An isolation valve includes a flow restrictor in a passage and having an orifice and configured to provide a first, second, and third flow paths. A spring may bias the flow restrictor to an open position that opens the second flow path. A solenoid assembly may include a coil and an armature moveable between an extended position that moves the flow restrictor to close the first, second, and third flow paths, and a retracted position that opens the first flow path. The first flow path may include a path from a first reservoir through the orifice to a second reservoir. The second flow path may include a first flow direction from the first reservoir to the second reservoir via a second path, the second path including a space between the flow restrictor and the passage. The third flow path may include a second flow direction from the second reservoir to the first reservoir via the second path.

Beverage dispensing apparatus, systems, and related methods are provided that have a recirculation loop to cool fluids in a dispensing tube bundle that delivers beverage fluids to a beverage dispensing assembly. A beverage dispensing apparatus includes an adjustable bypass manifold having an adjustable flow restriction that is configurable to enable the use of the beverage dispensing apparatus with different chilled soda recirculation systems. The adjustable bypass manifold includes ports for connection to the recirculation loop and ports for connection to a soda recirculation system.

A fan air modulating valve (FAMV) employs a pair of doors rotatably attached at the fan bypass air exit of a precooler. An actuator engages the doors for simultaneous rotation through a range of motion from a first closed position to a second open position, wherein trailing edges of said doors sealingly engage an exit plenum extending from the precooler in the first closed position and fan bypass air flow is modulated by positioning the doors within the range of motion between the first and second positions.

A bypass system for a transmission is disclosed. A transmission casing defines a first aperture and a second aperture. A valve assembly includes a housing defining a first port and a second port. The housing defines an inlet in fluid communication with the first port for guiding a fluid into the transmission casing and an outlet in fluid communication with the second port for guiding the fluid out of the transmission casing. The valve assembly further includes an actuation device disposed in the housing. The housing is mounted to the transmission casing such that the first port and the first aperture cooperate with each other for routing the fluid into the transmission casing directly from the valve assembly, and the second port and the second aperture cooperate with each other for routing the fluid out of the transmission casing directly into the valve assembly.

A thermostatic valve for controlling the temperature of the coolant in an internal combustion engine controls the flow of coolant between the internal combustion engine and a heat exchanger. The valve includes an actuation element which functions in a temperature-dependent manner for actuating lift of a main valve and of a bypass valve in a valve housing. The actuation element has a stationary piston supported on a valve housing part. A housing can be displaced relative to the piston and on which the valve members of the main valve and of the bypass valve are arranged. Further provided is a monitoring device for the position of the main valve, which works in a contactless manner and which has at least one sensor element contained in the valve housing part, and at least one associated permanent magnet for generating a magnetic field to which the sensor element is exposed.
