Abstract:
One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for bypass flow filtering. A bypass valve filter includes at least one wall configured to engage a surface of a bypass valve and a filter surface having a plurality of openings between an inside of the at least one wall and an outside of the at least one wall. One or more openings of the plurality of openings have a first size and one or more other openings of the plurality of openings have a second size, wherein the first size is different than the second size to define different levels of filtering. The bypass valve further includes an open end configured to allow fluid flow therethrough and to the plurality of openings.

Abstract:
A tip-resistant valve plug comprises a valve head, first and second retention legs, and an anti-tip fin. The valve head defines a fluid barrier. The anti-tip fin and the retention legs extend from the same side of the valve head. The anti-tip fin comprises a groove that allows the valve head to flex along a longitudinal fin axis; the anti-tip fin extends from the side of the valve head to a fin height dimension that is greater than a relief spring compression dimension caused by the tip-resistant valve moving between a closed position and an open position; or the valve head has a smaller moment of inertia evaluated in a direction the anti-tip fin extends across the valve head than a moment of inertia evaluated in a direction normal to the direction the anti-tip fin extends across the valve head.
Abstract:
A valve member of a pressure relief valve has a shaft portion, a pressure receiving portion, and a guide portion, wherein the valve member is axially movable in a fuel return passage. When a forward end of the shaft portion is seated on a valve seta, the fuel return passage is closed, while the shaft portion is separated from the valve seat the fuel return passage is opened. A notched portion is formed at an outer wall of the guide portion to thereby form an outer-surface passage. A fuel inlet port is formed in the valve member for communicating a fuel inlet chamber to the fuel return passage at a downstream side of the valve member.
Abstract:
A bypass-type motor protecting device includes: a casing fitted into a bypass opening in a body housing of a vacuum cleaner and having an inner abutment wall; a seat body having a bypass entry port; a valve body unit movable within the casing relative to the bypass entry port and including a valve disc to be engaged with and disengaged from the seat body, a plunger body having an externally accessible operated head and an axially extending threaded shank, and an abutment member threadedly engaged with the shank such that rotation of the operated head results in a change of an axial distance between the abutment member and the inner abutment wall; and a biasing member disposed to bias the abutment member and the inner abutment wall such that a biasing force thereof is varied in strength by the change of the axial distance.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a suction valve of a variable capacity compressor for vehicle including: a valve sheet, a valve case, a spool valve, and a resilient member, wherein the valve case includes a first coolant discharging port and a pair of second coolant discharging ports, each second coolant discharging port being smaller in size than the first coolant discharging port, and wherein the spool valve includes a plurality of first grooves and two pairs of second grooves which are formed on the first grooves so that the second grooves in each pair face each other and a coolant may be introduced from the bottom surface of the valve case, and wherein when the spool valve is initially opened, the coolant is introduced through the first and second grooves.

Abstract:
A check valve includes a housing with an inlet opening and an outlet opening along with a cage-like insert disposed therein as a support for a spring element and for guiding a closing body which can be moved against the spring element and which can be moved between a first end position, in which the spring body lies in contact with a seat to form a seal, and a second end position, in which the valve is completely open. The closing body, which is constructed cylindrically and pot-like, is guided with its cylindrical casing surface at the cage-like insert and in contact with the seat with a flat outer surface.

Abstract:
A high pressure fuel supply apparatus is constituted by a plunger reciprocating in a sleeve of a high pressure fuel pump so as to form a fuel pressurizing chamber between the plunger and the sleeve, a suction valve provided in a fuel suction port for sucking fuel into the fuel pressurizing chamber, and a discharge valve provided in a fuel discharge port for discharging fuel from the fuel pressurizing chamber into a high pressure fuel discharge passageway communicating with an internal combustion engine, the discharge valve reciprocating axially so as to perform an open/close operation, wherein the high pressure fuel supply apparatus further comprises a holder for regulating an axial reciprocating movement of the discharge valve in the open/close operation within a predetermined range.
