    Abstract: A check valve system includes a housing, a blocking element, and a biasing member. The housing has a passageway therethrough, the passageway including a first portion and a second portion, the first portion having a diameter that is less than a diameter of the second portion so as to form a stepped portion. The blocking element is disposed within the second portion of the passageway. The biasing member is disposed within the second portion of the passageway and configured to maintain the blocking element in contact with the stepped portion when under compression. The housing, the blocking element and the biasing member being obtainable by substantially simultaneously 3D printing, so as to be formed from one or more 3D printable materials.

    Abstract: Improved valve seal and integrity systems and methods are disclosed. Pressure in an internal cavity of a valve may be monitored and stored to assist in determining whether one or more seals in the valve are leaking. Internal cavity temperature may also be recorded and monitored to assist in determining whether there are any valve seal leaks. Expected pressure corresponding to a detected internal cavity pressure (that may be determined by correlating temperature and known fluid properties) may be compared to detected internal cavity pressure to assist in determining the existence of valve leaks. Internal cavity pressures and pressure differentials over time may be used to determine remaining valve seal life, leak severity, and/or integrity of a check valve on the valve. Indications of seal life, leak severity, seal integrity, and/or check valve integrity may be displayed to an end user or otherwise provided to a database or computer.

    Abstract: A minimum pressure valve for a screw compressor for a vehicle, in particular a utility vehicle, is provided with a housing; a valve insert opening which is formed in the housing; a valve insert which is inserted into the valve insert opening and has a valve piston bore; a valve piston, a valve piston section of which is guided in the valve insert in a movable manner in the valve piston bore; at least one fluid inlet channel; and at least one fluid outlet channel. The fluid inlet channel has at least one valve seat on the inlet channel end which faces the valve piston, wherein the valve piston can be set against the valve seat in order to close the minimum pressure valve such that the fluid inlet channel and the fluid outlet channel are separated in a closed position of the valve piston. The valve seat has a valve seat diameter dA, and the valve piston section has a valve piston section diameter dB. The ratio of the valve piston section diameter dB to the valve seat diameter dA ranges between ca. 0.6 and ca. 0.95.

    Abstract: A fuel passage structure of a fuel supply device is configured to supply fuel from a fuel tank to an internal combustion engine. The fuel passage structure includes a passage-forming member that forms a fuel passage and a check valve. The fuel passage includes a vertical passage extending in a vertical direction and a lateral passage extending in a horizontal direction. The check valve is disposed at an intersection of the vertical passage and the lateral passage. The check valve includes a valve body configured to close under its own weight. The valve body is movably arranged within the vertical passage in the vertical direction. The check valve is provided with a restriction member which restricts movement of the valve body into the lateral passage, while at the same time the restriction member does not disturb the forward flow of the pressurized fuel.

    Abstract: Improvements in a one-way valve cap to allow a homeowner to install the cap without requiring tools. This allows a homeowner to simply remove the existing cap and install the new cap to prevent removal from an unauthorized person. The one-way locking mechanism includes a ramp that prevents a person from unscrewing to cap without a tool. The opening allows a person to insert the tool through the outer housing and into the inner housing to unscrew the inner housing from the valve. A hex key or a custom key design can be used for removing the cap. A seal is inserted in the inner housing and seals the inner housing with the valve. The elastomeric seal prevents intrusion of contamination inside of the valve and also provides an additional seal to the valve to reduce a potential leak of gas from the line.

    Abstract: A flush system includes a meter valve, a first pipe, a vacuum breaker, a second pipe, and a ball valve assembly. The meter valve defines a selectively openable outlet. The first pipe is in fluid communication with the meter valve and a water supply source. The vacuum breaker is disposed within the first pipe upstream of the meter valve and oriented to prevent backflow from the meter valve to the water supply source. The second pipe extends from a wall and is downstream from the supply source. The ball valve assembly is disposed between the first pipe and the second pipe upstream of the vacuum breaker to facilitate fluid communication between the first pipe and the second pipe and to selectively isolate the meter valve from the water supply source.
