    摘要: A method for determining the fatigue of the pump rotor of a gas turbopump comprises the following method steps: continuous determination of the rotational speed (n) of the pump rotor, determination of the local rotational speed maxima and minima of a temporal rotational speed profile under consideration, association of the rotational speed maxima and minima with each other to form pairs, determination of a pair fatigue value (L) for each of the rotational speed pairs, and accumulation of all pair fatigue values (L) to form a total fatigue value (Ltot). In this manner it is possible to determine the cyclic stress for the pump rotor of a vacuum pump and to include it in the calculation of a total fatigue value.

    摘要: A friction vacuum pump (10) comprises a housing (12) defining a vaneless pump stator (30), a rotor drive and a rotor support which rotatably supports a pump rotor (16) provided with a vane (18). The housing (12) surrounds the overall axial length of the pump rotor (16), the rotor drive and the rotor support. Prior art housings are of multipart configuration and thus comprise seals between the housing portions. The seals are difficult to coat and may be or become locations where leaks occur. In contrast, the housing (12) is of one-piece configuration such that, in any case, the region of the housing (12) which is in contact with the vacuum gas is free of seals.

The stator (10) has a rotationally-symmetrical inner surface which matches the outer rotor geometry. The rotor (11) in the mechanical kinetic vacuum pump (2) is provided with a structure (13) carrying out the gas pumping. Said gas pumping structure comprises webs (14), the angle and width of which decrease from the suction side to the pressure side. The gas throughflow is improved. The outer diameter of the rotor (11) and the inner diameter of the stator (10) of the suctnion-side pump decrease from the suction side to the pressure side.

    摘要: A turbomolecular pump (10) comprises a stator (12, 18), a pump rotor (20) a motor (28) for driving the pump rotor and a control device (42). The control device (42) controls the motor output power such that the motor output power does not exceed a permissible maximum motor output power. On the stator side of the turbomolecular pump (10), temperature sensors (32–38) for measuring the stator temperature are arranged. The control device (42) comprises a maximum output power detecting device (50) that determines the permissible maximum motor output power in dependence on the measured stator temperature. Thus, the permissible maximum motor output power is not set to a constant value but always fixed in dependence on the current, measured stator temperature. Thereby, the capacity of the motor can be fully utilized as long as the measured stator temperature lies below a maximum value.

    摘要: Disclosed is a high-speed turbomachine comprising a magnetic bearing (22, 23) and a retainer bearing for mounting the rotor. The retainer bearing is embodied as a sliding bearing (26, 27) and encompasses a bearing shell (28) at the stator end, a bearing shaft (20) at the rotor end, and an intermediate bush (30) between the bearing shell (28) and the bearing shaft (20). Said intermediate bush (30) is spaced apart from both the bearing shaft (20) and the bearing shell (28) by means of a circular gap (33, 34). The intermediate bush (30) is rotatable relative to the bearing shell (28) and the bearing shaft (20). As a result of this design, the sliding bearing (26) is provided with two pairs of sliding surfaces, onto which all occurring dynamic forces are distributed such that wear is significantly reduced, thus allowing sliding bearings to be used as retainer bearings in a magnetically mounted high-speed turbomachine.
