    摘要: An electrostatic precipitation type air cleaner is disclosed herein. The air cleaner includes a charging module to charge dust particles by applied power and a collection module to collect the dust particles charged by the charging module. The collection module includes high voltage electrode plates and low voltage electrode plates disposed opposite the high voltage electrode plates so as to form air passages with the high voltage electrode plates, at least one of the high voltage electrode plates and the low voltage electrode plates includes a conductive member, a dielectric member to surround at least a part of the conductive member and coating layers configured to coat the surfaces of the dielectric member, and the coating layer includes 0.5 w % to 5 w % of zinc oxide. The coating layer including 0.5 w % to 5 w % of zinc oxide may have high antimicrobial activity and maintain high surface hardness.

    摘要: An improved HVAC system is provided for the delivery of a temperature controlled air supply via one or more air curtains provided at windows, doors and walls. The air curtains create a double layer of insulation over the surface of a window, door or wall. The invention provides for the use of the temperature controlled air flow from the air curtain to directly affect the interior room temperature. The invention provides an improved system for continuous cleaning the recycled air through the use of a wet electrostatic precipitator in the HVAC air flow, as well as providing a higher speed mode for the air curtain to prevent the inflow of particles and contaminants from outside of the building, when windows or doors are open. The invention may be installed on existing construction, or incorporated as part of new construction.

    摘要: An air treatment device having a plasma generator electrostatic precipitator assembly, is provided. The assembly includes an electrostatic precipitator configured to charge airborne particles in the vicinity of the electrostatic precipitator to provide charged airborne particles, and a plasma generator positioned in proximity to the electrostatic precipitator and configured for cooperation with the electrostatic precipitator. The plasma generator is configured to discharge plasma and provide an inactivation zone in the region of the plasma generator operable to inactivate airborne particles. The air treatment device directs the charged airborne particles generated by the electrostatic precipitator into the inactivation zone such that the air treatment device is adapted to generate charged airborne particles and then immediately, to direct the charged airborne particles into the inactivation zone so as to expose the charged airborne particles to plasma in the inactivation zone.

The collection device includes a collection belt including a flat wire belt defining a three-dimensional collection surface. The precipitator further includes a brush and vacuum assembly for removing the particulate material and reducing the risk of reentrainment in the air stream.

In some embodiments, the apparatus includes at least one emitter through which a fluid is sprayed into a plurality of electrically charged droplets that intermix with particulates in incoming air and form a plurality of charged agglomerates. A minor portion of such charged agglomerates are collected on a conductive surface and removed from the input air, while a major portion of such charged agglomerates are deflected by a deflecting element onto a collective surface. Thus, the apparatus reduces particulates in output air. In some embodiments, the emitter includes an array of hydrophilic spray fibers.

    摘要: The disclosed electrostatic precipitator cartridge for a tower air cleaner in accord with the present invention is low-cost, because constructed of injected molded plastics material and stamped and extruded metal components. It is easy to clean, not only because it's constitutive metal parts and plastic components are machine washable but also because the cartridge as a whole is machine washable, the pieces and components are designed and arranged to prevent intracartridge fluid buildup or retention after washing, thereby eliminating any electrical shorting or arcing or other undesirable phenomena resulting therefrom that could interfere with the operation of the electrostatic filter cartridge. It is mechanically stable and has high particulate collection efficiency because it's ionizer bars have a predetermined preferably air foil shape that provides improved ionization efficiency and that imparts improved torsion stability rendering it possible to provide taller electrostatic filter cartridges and/or greater cleaning power.
