Abstract: A system performs mobile biometric identification system enrollment using a known biometric. The system receives a digital representation of a first biometric for a person. Prior to using the digital representation of the first biometric to identify the person, the system compares a received digital representation of a second biometric for the person to known biometric data for the person. When the digital representation of the first biometric has been thus verified, the system is operative to identify the person using the digital representation of the first biometric.

Abstract: A gesture access system includes a local access assembly, a mobile device, an electronic storage medium, and a processor. The local access assembly is adapted to operate between an access state and a no-access state, and includes a controller to effect actuation between the states and a signal receiver. The mobile device includes an Inertial Measurement Unit sensor system configured to measure a motion of the mobile device to conditionally detect a device gesture indicative of an intent of a user to gain access. The storage medium is configured to store an application and a preprogrammed device gesture. The processor is configured to receive the measured motion from the sensor system, and execute the application to compare the measured motion to the preprogrammed device gesture, and depending upon the comparison, output a command signal to the controller of the local access assembly via the receiver to effect actuation between states.

Abstract: The disclosed computer-implemented method includes applying transport protocol heuristics to selective acknowledgement (SACK) messages received at a network adapter from a network node. The transport protocol heuristics identify threshold values for operational functions that are performed when processing the SACK messages. The method further includes determining, by applying the transport protocol heuristics to the SACK messages received from the network node, that the threshold values for the transport protocol heuristics have been reached. In response to determining that the threshold values have been reached, the method includes identifying the network node as a security threat and taking remedial actions to mitigate the security threat. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

The at least one processor is configured to execute the computer-executable instructions to cause the client computer to generate a licensing message associated with verification of licensing permissions related to restricted functionality provided by the client computer. The licensing message includes a packet header including a source address associated with the client computer, and a destination address associated with an intermediary device. The licensing message also includes a licensing body, which further includes license authentication information used by an authentication server. The licensing body further includes an endpoint address specifying an address of the authentication server on a first network. The client computer transmits the licensing message to the intermediary device via a second network different than the first network.

Abstract: In one aspect, a computer system for vehicle configuration verification, and/or detecting unauthorized vehicle modification may be provided. In some exemplary embodiments, the computer system may include a processor and a non-transitory, tangible, computer-readable storage medium having instructions stored thereon that, in response to execution by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations including: (1) receiving a vehicle image, including a vehicle identifier and at least one software module; (2) calculating a configuration hash value of the at least one software module; generating a first data block including the configuration hash value, a first index value, the vehicle identifier, and a digital signature; (3) storing the first data block in a memory; and/or (4) transmitting the first data block to any number of network participants using a distributed network to facilitate vehicle software configuration verification.

Abstract: This Application sets forth techniques for transfer of a cellular wireless service plan associated with a SIM or an semis between non-linked wireless devices. A target wireless device broadcasts an advertisement beacon requesting transfer of a cellular wireless service plan. After successful authentication with a source wireless device, using a manually entered verification code or a QR verification code, the target wireless device selects a cellular wireless service plan to transfer. The source wireless device obtains a transfer token from an MNO entitlement server for transfer of the selected cellular wireless service plan and provides the transfer token to the target wireless device via a secure, short distance Bluetooth connection or, alternatively, embedded in an encrypted QR code. The target wireless device uses the transfer token to obtain a new eSIM associated with transfer of the cellular wireless service plan.
