Abstract: A system for reception of radio transmissions includes: a collector, coupled to a plurality of transmitters via a plurality of wireless radio frequency (RF) links. The collector has a channelizer chain that receives an RF signal stream comprising broadcasts from the plurality of transmitters according to one or more known packet transmission protocols, converts the RF signal stream into digital bit streams that each correspond to a corresponding frequency channel. The collector also has a plurality of packet receivers that comport with a number of frequency channels provided by the channelizer chain and that are coupled in parallel to the channelizer chain. Each of the receivers processes more than one sample within each bit of a corresponding digital bit stream to detect, demodulate, and decode bits of the corresponding digital bit stream into packet payloads. The collector validates the packet payloads and forwards the packet payloads to one or more entities.

Abstract: Devices, systems and methods for predicting future consumption values of load(s) in power distribution systems are provided. The present disclosure provides for receiving a request for a load prediction for at least one meter; extracting time series data relating to the at least meter; retrieving future weather conditions for a particular location based on the at least one meter; and providing the extracted data and the future weather conditions to a prediction model that predicts load usage for the at least one meter. Additionally, the present disclosure provides for performing at least one action based on the prediction, wherein the action includes outputting at least one of a communication signal and/or at least one control signal to at least one client or at least one meter.

Abstract: A system for alert of energy resource outages includes: a resource monitor, disposed within radio range of resource meters that each transmit corresponding radio signals indicative of corresponding meter identifiers and current readings, configured to: determine whether the corresponding radio signals are fixed frequency or frequency hopping by scanning frequency channels for a time period and counting hits of desired meter identifiers; decode each of the one or more of the corresponding radio signals of the resource meters according to determined protocol to obtain one or more of the corresponding meter identifiers and current readings; and transmit the one or more of the corresponding meter identifiers and current readings; and a server, configured to: receive the one or more of the corresponding meter identifiers and current readings; employ the corresponding meter identifiers and current readings to detect an outage; and transmit an alert that corresponds to the outage.
