摘要: The invention relates to a protective helmet, and in particular, to a protective motorcycle helmet, comprising an antenna (1) for radio transmission, an outer shell (2) for distributing impact forces, an inner layer (3), which is accommodated by the outer shell (2), for damping impact forces, and a socket (4), which is firmly connected to the outer shell (2), for contacting a digital device (5) for wireless communication, wherein the socket (4), when contacting the digital device (5), electrically connects the latter to the antenna (1) for wireless communication. The protective helmet is characterized in that at least a partial layer of the outer shell (2) is disposed between the antenna (1) and the inner layer (3).

摘要: A first device such as a wristwatch may include a front face at which a display is disposed and a rear face at which a rear housing wall is mounted. Antenna structures may overlap the rear housing wall and may be operable to transmit and receive relatively high frequency signals through the rear housing wall to a communication with a second device such as a wireless power transmitting device for the wristwatch. The second device may also include antenna structures that overlap a top surface housing. Respective sets of magnetic structures may be provided in the first and second devices to align the two devices and to form a reliable wireless communication link between the two devices. The first and second devices may include respective antenna arrays that include pairs of antenna elements that are selectively used to form a reliable wireless communication link.

摘要: A guest engagement system and associated methods provide seamless engagement with guests of facilities through the use of wireless sensing technologies. The system makes use of individual guest devices which are carried by guests and used to automatically identify and authenticate the guests throughout the facility. Services can thereby be seamlessly provided to the guests throughout the facility. The services include contact tracing, automatic unlocking of doors, including hotel or state room doors, based on the guests' immediate proximity to their assigned room's door. The services also include automated payment services provided at checkout or vending terminals, and automated log-on to interactive displays and portals, among others, based on secure wireless authentication of the guest devices. The guest devices can each include a device health sensor configured for measuring at least one health function of a user wearing the guest device.

摘要: The present invention provides a system and method for increasing construction site safety. The present invention reduces the risk of a construction or similar large vehicle or piece of mobile machinery hitting a construction worker. The system uses low-power wireless beacons embedded in a construction worker's hardhat or otherwise on the construction worker's person. The low-power wireless beacon interacts with sensor modules around the construction site, on construction vehicles, on construction equipment, or any other suitable placement known to or conceivable by one of skill in the art. The sensor modules send alert signals to a display accessible to a driver of the vehicle, and/or a foreman on the construction site. While the present invention is discussed herein in the context of construction safety, it should be noted that such a system can be applied to any situation where tracking and alert generation would be beneficial.
