摘要:
The invention relates to a protective helmet, and in particular, to a protective motorcycle helmet, comprising an antenna (1) for radio transmission, an outer shell (2) for distributing impact forces, an inner layer (3), which is accommodated by the outer shell (2), for damping impact forces, and a socket (4), which is firmly connected to the outer shell (2), for contacting a digital device (5) for wireless communication, wherein the socket (4), when contacting the digital device (5), electrically connects the latter to the antenna (1) for wireless communication. The protective helmet is characterized in that at least a partial layer of the outer shell (2) is disposed between the antenna (1) and the inner layer (3).

The present disclosure can be embodied by a detachable assembly, for example a helmet and headphone assembly. A locking assembly can be configured to removably attach the headphones to the helmet in a locked position. In the locked position, the headphones can be locked horizontally onto the helmet, and a portion of ear cups of the headphones may be received at least partially through a pair of ear cup receiving apertures that extend through a shell of the helmet.

A safer baseball or softball helmet is constructed of a two-piece molded shell (rounder than the standard helmet today). The inner-shell is the basic helmet (rounder) as we see today. Two options are available for implementation. Option one: retrofit an exiting helmet by installing a rim or no rim and outer-shell cap, attached by a bolt/axis and assorted washers (steel or rubber/pads) to the inner-shell, for a flexing motion as a pogo stick movement to the inner-shell that serves to deflect, rotate, and disperse the force of impact. Option two: manufacture a helmet, with a molded rim or (no rim) as part of the inner-shell, into which the outer-shell will fit. With this design, the outer-shell cap could be interlocked with the helmet inner-shell locking rim with no needed for the bolt/axis. The two shell baseball or softball helmet is designed to reduce all impact forces by rotating outer-shell cap.

Implementations of a helmet liner are provided. In some implementations, the helmet liner may be configured to be worn in conjunction with a helmet and/or a headset (e.g., a communication and/or hearing protection headset). In this way, the helmet liner may be used to provide localized thermal comfort for the wearer's head when a helmet and/or a headset is worn. In some implementations, the helmet liner may have a dome-like shape configured for anatomically fitting the head of a wearer. In some implementations, the helmet liner may comprise a front portion, a top portion, a back portion, a first side portion, and a second side portion. In some implementations, the helmet liner may further comprise a first slot and a second slot that extend through the first side portion and the second side portion, respectively.

A welding helmet 10 that has a face shield 12 that has a native width NW and that has a lens 14 disposed in the face shield 12. A spreader bar 30 can expand the face shield 12 from its native width NW to an increased width IW to allow the welding shield 10 to easily accommodate earmuffs 16 worn by the welder.

A protective headgear for a baseball or softball fielder includes a rigid outer protective shell that has a first side portion, an opposing second side portion and a brim that extends outwardly from a front portion. The outer protective shell has a top opening and a rear opening that is defined between the first and second side portions. As a result, the protective headgear does not completely circumscribe the fielder's head. The protective headgear also includes an impact absorption material disposed along an inner surface of the outer protective shell and also an inner cap to be worn beneath the outer protective shell. The inner cap is formed of a breathable material and can be in the form of a skull cap.

An apparatus comprising a first curved band portion and a second curved band portion. The first curved band portion has a first end, a second end, an inner curved side and an outer curved side. The first curved band portion defines a passageway between the first end and the second end of the first curved band portion. The passageway has a first opening. The second curved band portion has a first end, a second end, an inner curved side and an outer curved side. A motion-restraint portion is proximate to the first end of the second curved band portion. The first end of the second curved band portion is insertable into the first opening of the passageway of the first curved band portion. The first curved band portion has a range of motion within the passageway of the second curved band portion.

The current invention discloses a new wrestling headgear with protective pads covering the wearer's entire head, compared with conventional wrestling headpieces that cover only the ears, or forehead and ears. The wrestling headgear herein disclosed may take various forms but in general provides covering for the forehead, top of the head, back of the head, and the ears. In one embodiment, there are a plurality of straps fastening the pads to the ear pieces and the pads and earpieces to the wearer's head. In another embodiment, the pads and the ear pieces are encased in elastic wrappings that may be worn comfortably. The current wrestling headgear is superior that it provides comprehensive protection to the wearer, ensuring the safety of the sport.
