    摘要： A swing lag training device having a collar for reversible attachment to a shaft near a golf club head; an arm band for attachment above an elbow of an arm of a user; a spooling device attached to the arm band with a cord that connects the spooling device to an attachment port near the golf club head; the spooling device adapted to: 1) retract cord into the spooling device during a back swing; and 2) provide a set of audible sounds as cord is unwound as the golf club head is moved in a forward swing so that a user can train to concentrate the set of audible sounds in a late portion of in the forward swing and thus maintain swing lag during an early portion of the forward swing. The training device can be adapted for training to swing other implements beyond golf clubs.

    摘要： A system that captures and analyzes motion data for equipment and that automatically captures the usage context in which the motion occurs. Context items in the environment may have attached beacons that broadcast their identities; a motion capture element on the equipment receives and analyzes these broadcast messages to determine which context items are nearby. Beacons may be grouped into categories such as “user”, “location”, “coach”, and “equipment”; the motion capture element determines the nearest beacon in each category, and these nearest beacons are used as the context for each motion. For example, in a baseball application players and coaches may wear pendants or similar accessories with personal beacons, and other beacons may be installed into bats, bases, batting cages, bullpens, or other locations. The context for a swing may include the player who made the swing, the bat used, a coach that was present, and where the swing occurred.

The rotating assembly includes a rotational member positioned within the housing and a resilient member that exhibits rotational force upon the rotating assembly. The actuating assembly includes a firing device that a user acts upon to transition the rotating assembly from a first state of rest to a second state of rotational movement. The swinging assembly retains a bat and is fixedly coupled to the rotating assembly and rotates with the rotating assembly to swing the bat when the user acts upon the firing device to transition the rotating assembly from the first state to the second state.

    摘要： The Spherical Cage Pitch Training Device with Spinning Ball is a pitch training device or apparatus in the form of a spinning ball that can simulate any ball requiring gripping by the hand. In use, it is attached to a three-dimensional resistance means. The purpose of the pitch training device is to provide strengthening, rehabilitation, and/or correct body motion mechanics training to improve pitching quality, speed, strength, and body mechanics. This enables training, exercising, and rehabilitation of proper body motion mechanics for improving the act of pitching and increasing the performance (speed and/or accuracy) of the act by enabling weighted ball training wherein the weight of the ball is connected to and maintained in the center of the ball and the center of mass of the weight is maintained in the center (physical, geometric, and/or dimensional) of the ball.
