摘要: A system and method for analyzing and improving the performance of a body motion of an animal or human subject requires instrumenting a subject with inertial sensors, monitoring a body motion of interest, converting sensor data into motion data and animation, comparing the motion data with existing data for motion related performance parameters, providing a real-time, information rich, animation and data display of the results in color coded displays; and based on the results prescribing a training regime with exercises selected from a library of standardized exercises using standardized tools and training aids.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for analyzing an athletic throwing motion by an individual. The method is executed by a motion monitoring system having at least one computer and at least one inertial sensor for sensing movement of the individual. The method involves the at least one computer receiving inertial sensor data from the at least one inertial sensor during execution of the athletic throwing motion by the individual, analyzing the athletic throwing motion by determining at least one metric from the inertial sensor data, and generating constructive feedback regarding the athletic throwing motion based on the at least one metric. The constructive feedback can for example be biofeedback and/or a prescription for a set of exercises. The constructive feedback can help the individual improve upon the athletic throwing motion. Also disclosed is a motion monitoring system.

摘要: A system and method for analyzing and improving the performance of a body motion, which requires receiving, by a CPU, sensor data from sensors worn by a user; storing the transmitted sensor data in a data buffer; recognizing that a motion gesture occurred based on a signature of acceleration data in the buffered sensor data, extracting from the data buffer sensor data from a predetermined time window around the moment when the motion gesture occurred; automatically generating a regime file customized for the user based on the extracted sensor data, and generating in real-time a user interface displaying a representation corresponding to the motion indicated by the sensor data, wherein the CPU determines the signature of acceleration data by matching the buffered sensor data with stored motion signatures, wherein the regime file is automatically generated based on diagnostic parameters obtained from the sensor data associated with a motion activity category.
