Abstract: Golf club heads with improved aerodynamic properties. In an example, the golf club head has a club head frontmost point and a club head rearmost point. The golf club head may include a striking face and a sole connected to a bottom side of the striking face. The sole has a rearmost point and may have a closing ascent angle of less than about 35 degrees. The club head also includes a crown connected to a topside of the striking face. The crown has a rearmost point and may have a closing descent angle of less than about 35 degrees. The closing descent angle may also be within 85%-115% of the closing ascent angle of the sole. Toeward and heelward tripping structures may also be incorporated on the hosel to further improve aerodynamic properties of the golf club head.

The golf club head further comprises a bridge bar at a rear portion of the golf club head. The bridge bar spans the cavity, is spaced apart from the strike plate, and is rigidly fixed to and extends uprightly between the sole portion and the topline portion. The bridge bar has a mass per unit length of between 0.09 g/mm and 0.40 g/mm.
