It discloses a system using lamps to indicate that the power wiring is connecting to three-phase motors in the correct sequence or that single-phase motors have their windings correctly phased.

    摘要: A control circuit is provided which includes a single programmable terminal for controlling a plurality of modes, functions or parameters in a programmable circuit with a minimum of program elements connected to the single programmable terminal. The program elements may illustratively be resistors, capacitors, inductors or other circuit components. In a first mode, for example, two program elements control a signal generating function in the programmable circuit. In a second mode, a voltage provided internally forces a condition at the programmable terminal to control another signal generating function. In both first and second modes, the values of the program elements, selectable by the user, also determine the particular frequencies of the respective generated signals. In a third mode, the signals generated in the first and second modes are compared to provide a control function. There is further provided an absolute value comparator responsive to either polarity of an input sense signal applied to a single sense terminal. A switched output results when the input exceeds a temperature compensated systematic offset inherent to the comparator without requiring any external threshold signal.

    摘要: A first pseudo random number generating circuit sequentially provides an output signal to a matching detecting circuit in response to a clock signal. A second pseudo random number generating circuit generates an initial value, and then, sequentially provides an output signal to a storage device in response to an output signal from the matching detecting circuit and the clock signal. Data with the output signal as an address is provided as an output signal from the storage device. When the matching detecting circuit detects matching between the output signals, the matching detecting circuit provides the output signals to the second pseudo random number generating circuit and an AND logic circuit. As described above, when the output signal of the matching detecting circuit is provided, the output signals from the storage device are provided as respective output control signals.

A single signal generating means (15) generates a reference pulse each time the driving shaft is in a reference rotational position and a train of angular position pulses indicating the rotational displacement of the shaft. Counting means (20) counts the number of angular position pulses following receipt of the reference pulse and generates a timing control signal via a one-shot device (31) and amplifier (32) to actuate each coupling device (33) when the number of angular position pulses counted by the counting means coincides with a respective preset count associated with the respective mechanism.

    摘要: An electrical machining apparatus incorporating features against malfunctioning or delay to reach a normal operation upon recovery from a power failure or shut-off in the input source is provided. The apparatus having a plurality of electrical output devices, e.g. a machining power supply, a fluid pumping system and a feed drive unit is provided with a plural gate unit connected between the input source and each of the plural output devices. The plural gate circuit units are disabled in response to the power failure or shut-off for jointly holding all the output devices electrically deenergized, respectively. A sequential trigger circuit operates in response to a recovery from the power failure or shut-off for sequentially producing a plurality of trigger signals and enabling the plural gate circuit units therewith respectively whereby to commence energizing the respective output devices in a predetermined sequence.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for controlling the delivery of gobs to each section of a multiple section glassware forming machine to assure that no one section can authorize the delivery of a gob of molten glass to any other section. The invention discloses means for monitoring the time of occurrence within a machine cycle of the delivery enable pulse from each section and for determining whether this delivery enable pulse occurs within a predetermined time window. In the event either the leading or trailing edge of this pulse occur outside predetermined time windows, the gob interceptor associated with the machine is activated to reject the gobs intended for that section. The invention also discloses means for monitoring the motion of a gob interceptor to provide assurance to an operator that the interceptor has moved to either a delivery or intercept position in a timely manner. The time lag between a command to the interceptor and the interceptor's actual arrival at a predetermined position is monitored and it exceeds a predetermined value a command is given to the retract mechanism associated with the gob distributor to retract the distributor to prevent delivery of gobs to all sections of the machine.

    摘要: An apparatus for detecting the presence of a gob of molten glass as it enters a cavity in the mold of an automatic glassware forming machine. The detector includes a phototransistor sensor and circuitry for generating a gob detection signal. Two or more detectors can be combined to generate a signal indicating that the last gob has entered a multi-cavity mold so that the forming process can begin. The gob detection signal can also be utilized to adjust the timing of the glassware forming process for differences in the travel time between the gob forming apparatus and the mold.
