    摘要: A multirotor aircraft that includes a chassis, three or more vertical rotors, one or more free wings and one or more fixed horizontal rotor. The free wing is attached to the chassis by an axial connection so that the angle of the free wing is changed relative to the chassis according the flow of air over the free wing. The fixed horizontal rotor enables the multirotor aircraft to lower and climb while flying forward at a stable horizontal pitch of the chassis.

    摘要: A system and a method for improving a stall margin of an aircraft during a climb phase of flight are disclosed. In one embodiment, the method comprises using data indicative of a phase of flight of the aircraft and data indicative of an angle-of-attack, and automatically commanding a deployment of leading edge slats movably attached to wings of the aircraft when the following conditions are true: the aircraft is in a climb phase of flight; and the angle-of-attack equals or exceeds a predefined deployment angle-of-attack threshold value.

    摘要: An electrically powered vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (EVTOL) includes a payload module, a plurality of electrical power sources. a wing, and a plurality of electric thrust generators. The wing is pivotally attached to the payload module and is configured to pivot about a pivot axis, relative to the payload module, to transition between vertical flight and horizontal flight. The electric thrust generators are operatively attached to the wing, where each one is operatively connected to a different electrical power source. The electric thrust generators operate to provide thrust to the aircraft in response to receiving electric power from the electrical power sources. The electric thrust generators pivot, with the wing, about the pivot axis, relative to the payload.

    摘要: Installation of powered actuators in the leading edge of a control surface in order to have a better weight distribution. The systems described herein propose an actuation system with a static ground structure used to move a control surface of an aircraft. The actuation system, and the ground structure are aligned with the center of rotation of the control surface, providing the aircraft with flutter suppression. This proposal is an approach to use the actuator in a place favorable to the mass balancing and reducing or even dismissing the usage of mass balancing, saving weight and cost.

    For the flight and the horizontal take-off/landing, the rotors are completely enclosed inside the wing and possibly inside the horizontal stabilizer or the fuselage.
