摘要: A radiographic inspection apparatus and a vehicle-mounted security inspection system. The radiographic inspection apparatus includes a scanning device, where the scanning device includes: an upright framework; a slip ring rotatably provided on the upright framework; and a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism includes: a driving mechanism provided on the upright framework; and a contact portion provided on the driving mechanism to come into contact with an outer ring of the slip ring under a driving of the driving mechanism, so as to prevent the slip ring from rotating relative to the upright framework.

摘要: An apparatus for imaging and analyzing a tissue sample includes a rotating table with integrated weighing apparatus for supporting and rotating a platform supporting a tissue sample. A laser line generator projects a laser line onto the platform and the tissue sample. A profiling camera captures images of the laser line upon the tissue sample as the platform and tissue sample are rotated. An image analyzer/processor determines a plurality of laser lines profiles from the captured images of the laser line. The image analyzer/processor determines a tissue profile of the tissue sample from the plurality of laser line profiles.

摘要: A neutron activation analysis installation comprises a neutron generator whose target chamber communicates through a transport means with a test sample receiving and loading assembly which, in its turn, communicates with a test sample impurity concentration measuring unit. The receiving and loading assembly is in communication with the impurity concentration measuring unit over a channel having a through lateral port communicating on one side with the input of an irradiated sample surface layer removal unit, an irradiated sample distribution assembly being arranged on the other side of the port. The irradiated sample distribution assembly represents an air cylinder with a hollow rod having a bar arranged along the axis thereof and mounting on its end a sample receiver. The bar is disposed in a manner allowing its rotation about the longitudinal axis thereof and reciprocating motion through the port in the channel.

摘要: A detector system for an x-ray imaging device includes a detector chassis, a plurality of sub-assemblies mounted to the detector chassis and within an interior housing of the chassis, the sub-assemblies defining a detector surface, where each sub-assembly includes a thermally-conductive support mounted to the detector chassis, a detector module having an array of x-ray sensitive detector elements mounted to a first surface of the support, an electronics board mounted to a second surface of the support opposite the first surface, at least one electrical connector that connects the detector module to the electronics board, where the electronics board provides power to the detector module and receives digital x-ray image data from the detector module via the at least one electrical connector. Further embodiments include x-ray imaging systems, external beam radiation treatment systems having an integrated x-ray imaging system, and methods therefor.

摘要: A method and apparatus for analysis of a specimen in a microscope are provided. A first survey is performed that collects analytical data from a region of interest on the specimen surface using a first set of conditions. A second survey is performed that collects additional analytical data from selected parts of the region of interest on the specimen surface using a second set of conditions, different from the first set of conditions. The analytical data from the first survey is used to select the parts used for data collection in the second survey and to decide the order in which they are used.

摘要: According to one embodiment, a medical image diagnostic apparatus includes a gantry, columns, gantry drive motors, position detectors, and gantry control circuitry. The gantry has a bore along a vertical direction. The columns movably support the gantry along the vertical direction, with one end of the bore facing a floor surface and the gantry being interposed between the columns. The gantry drive motors move the gantry along the vertical direction. The position detectors detect support positions at which the gantry is supported in each of the columns. The gantry control circuitry determines whether or not movement of the gantry along the vertical direction is possible, based on information regarding misalignment between the support positions.
