Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the technical field of lamps, and discloses a non-welded and anti-deformation lamp base and a non-welded and anti-deformation light bulb. The lamp base of the present disclosure is integrally molded with the plastic insulating piece to replace a glass insulating piece of the traditional lamp base. The plastic insulating piece has both an environmental protection effect and an inward sinking deformation prevention effect, so that the quality of the light bulb is effectively improved.

Abstract: An LED lighting device or LED lamp comprises one or more LED packages, and a switch comprising at least two selectable positions. At least one selectable position corresponds to a set operating mode and one selectable position corresponds to a configurable operating mode. When the switch is in the selectable position corresponding to the set operating mode, responsive to receiving an indication of user input for selecting user-selected operating light qualities, the one or more LED packages continue to be operated in accordance with the predefined operating light qualities corresponding to the set operating mode. When the switch is in the selectable position corresponding to the configurable operating mode, responsive to receiving an indication of user input for selecting user-selected operating light qualities, operation of the one or more LED packages is modified in accordance with the user-selected operating light qualities.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for providing circadian-friendly LED light sources are disclosed. A light source is formed to include a first LED emission (e.g., one or more LEDs emitting a first spectrum) and a second LED emission (e.g., one or more LEDs emitting a second spectrum) wherein the first and second LED emissions are combined in a first ratio and in a second ratio such that while changing from the first ratio to the second ratio the relative circadian stimulation is varied while maintaining a color rendering index above 80.

Abstract: A lighting system configured to provide light and disinfect air in an environment. The lighting system includes an HVAC unit configured to provide air to the environment, and a lighting device configured to deactivate microorganisms in the air. The lighting device includes a housing, means for mounting the housing to a surface in the environment, one or more first light-emitting elements arranged in the housing and configured to each produce disinfecting light having a wavelength in a first range of wavelengths, and one or more second light-emitting elements arranged in the housing and configured to each produce disinfecting light having a wavelength in a second range of wavelengths different from the first range of wavelengths. The disinfecting light produced by the first light-emitting elements and the disinfecting light produced by the second light-emitting elements mix to form a combined light, the combined light being visible light other than white light.

Abstract: LED lamp 10 includes a housing, a mounting base, a light engine (LE) 16, light-transmissive cover 20 circumscribing the LE, and reflector 18. The LE comprises a plurality of top-emitting LED packages (TE-LED packages) mounted on planar upper surface 32 of PC board 26, each configured to emit light having an angular distribution centered around a principal light-emitting direction (PLED) normal to an emission face 45. A first set 36 of TE-LEDs is mounted with its PLED perpendicular to PCB 26 and a second set 38 of TE-LEDs is mounted to the PCB with its PLED orthogonal to that of the first set 36 of TE-LEDs and parallel to upper surface 32. Reflector 18 disposed below LE 16 reflects light towards cover 20. A polar light distribution of light emitted from LED lamp 10 is omnidirectional and is Energy Star compliant.

Abstract: A lighting device configured to deactivate dangerous pathogens (e.g., MRSA bacteria) in an environment. The lighting device includes at least one lighting element with a single light source configured to provide light. At least a first component of the light comprising light having a wavelength of about 405 nm, and at least a second component of the light comprising light having a wavelength of greater than 420 nm. The first component of light has a minimum integrated irradiance of 0.01 mW/cm2 measured from any unshielded point in the environment that is 1.5 m from any point on any external-most luminous surface of the lighting device.

During operation, when the switch is in a position to select the selectable option corresponding to the configurable operating mode, the driver circuitry operates at least one of the one or more LED packages to emit light having operating light qualities corresponding to a most recently received signal indicating a user-selection. The user-selection may be provided through user interaction with an interactive element of the LED lighting device or LED lamp, wall switch, or portable remote switch.
