Abstract:
The disclosed inventive concept provides an electrically conductive mechanical vibration isolator for providing an electrical path between parts of a vehicle in order to alleviate the need for ground straps. The conductive isolator disclosed herein includes an inner shell, an outer shell, an elastomer disposed therebetween, and a conductor interconnecting the inner and outer shells to create an electrical path therebetween. In one embodiment, the conductor is at least one conducting wire having opposite ends electrically bonded to the inner and outer shells. In another embodiment, the elastomer may comprise a plurality of conductive particulates distributed throughout the elastomer. In yet another embodiment the elastomer may include at least one channel formed therein and extending between the inner and outer shells for storing a conductive liquid therein. The conductive liquid is contained between the shells and provides an electrical path therebetween.
Abstract:
A detachable robot system includes a mobile working machine and an intelligent device. The mobile working machine includes a transmission wheel device, a first fastening portion and a first conductive contact. The first fastening portion and the transmission wheel device are oppositely arranged on the first main body. The transmission wheel device loads and moves the first main body. The intelligent device is completely removable from the mobile working machine, and includes a second fastening portion and a second conductive contact. Thus, when the intelligent device is loaded on the mobile working machine, the intelligent device is fixedly coupled to the mobile working machine by the first fastening portion and the second fastening portion engaged with each other, so that the first conductive contact and the second conductive contact are aligned and connected to each other.
Abstract:
An electrical junction box includes an electrical junction box main body having a mount portion and a separate attachment body removably attached to the mount portion, a pair of connectors are respectively provided on opposing surfaces of the mount portion and the attachment body are connected to each other, and a vibration suppressing member is between the opposing surfaces, the vibration suppressing member suppressing vibration of the attachment body by exerting a frictional force on the opposing surfaces.
Abstract:
An electronic device is provided which includes an insertion terminal, a body part, and a support plate part. The insertion terminal has an insertion hole into which an insertion jack is inserted. The body part supports the insertion terminal at one side of the insertion terminal. The support plate part has a support surface being a surface opposite to the insertion terminal and supports the insertion terminal at the other side of the insertion terminal. The body part has an opposite surface opposite to the support surface, a step difference surface having a step difference with the opposite surface and placed to be deeper from the insertion hole on the basis of an insertion direction of an insertion jack than the opposite surface, and an inclined surface joining the opposite surface and the step difference surface. The support plate part transmits the force by which the insertion terminal shakes, to the body part through the inclined surface.
Abstract:
A connecting device for a magnetic system of an imaging system includes a holding element for connection of the connecting device to a power supply connection of the magnetic system, and a connecting element for connection of the connecting device to a power supply cable for operation of the magnetic system. The connecting device also includes an oscillation damping device having a spring element. The oscillation damping device is operable to dampen oscillations of the magnetic system that act on the connecting device by way of the holding element, with respect to the connecting element.
Abstract:
A battery pack for a cordless power tool and a cordless power tool and battery pack combination includes the battery pack having a retention member that pivotally engages a retention member of the power tool and a latch system in which one of the battery pack and power tool has a ball and the other of the power tool and battery pack has a latch that engages the ball.
Abstract:
A mount structure for a double ended type tungsten-halogen lamp is disclosed employing vibration damping elements to reduce the effects of mechanical shock and vibration. A thin layer of ceramic cement is interposed between the mount structure and lamp to improve the sealing arrangement related to a quartz lamp. A sealed beam headlamp unit employing the improved lamp mount construction is also disclosed.
Abstract:
A device and system for connecting a car-mounted apparatus comprising a fixing plate installed to part of a car body for supporting the car-mounted apparatus, a female part formed in either the car-mounted apparatus or the fixing plate, and a male part extending from either the car-mounted apparatus or the fixing plate that can be freely engaged with and disengaged from the female part. The invention also relates to a device for supplying power to a car-mounted apparatus by electrically connecting a connector on the car-body and a connector on the car-mounted apparatus, where either of these connectors is installed so that it can freely move and integrally vibrate with the other connector when in an engaged condition.
Abstract:
A heat-sensitive variable-resistance insert device for use with a light bulb and socket, including: a heat-sensitive variable-resistance wafer for interconnecting the central contact of the socket with the central contact of the light bulb. An annular insulation member surrounds the edge of the wafer and electrically insulates it from the wall of the socket. A resilient contact is mounted on at least one side of the wafer for resiliently engaging the associated central contact and accommodating for variations in the distance between the central contacts.
Abstract:
A lamp-retaining socket for a screw type lamp which prevents the lamp from accidentally becoming loose in the socket due to vibration or the like. The lamp retainer comprises a thin strip of flexible and deformable material which is interposed between rolled threads of a screw shell and rolled threads on a lamp base. The strip extends over at least two of the threads and increases frictional engagement between the threads of the shell and lamp base without interfering with introduction of the lamp into the screw shell or its removal therefrom. The retainer strip may be assembled with the screw shell prior to installation in a housing or it may be a clip which can be attached to the screw shell prior to the lamp being installed.
