Abstract: Apparatus, systems and methods for providing light. The apparatus may include an LED disposed on a PCB. The PCB may be disposed in a housing. The apparatus may include a cord that has a first end that is electrically terminated in a base and a second end that is electrically terminated in the housing. The housing may engage the cord at a location along the cord between the first end and the second end to suspend the housing at a location. The housing may include a bolt. The bolt may house a gripper. The gripper may grip the cord at the location and relax in response to passage of the cord into the housing. The housing may include a shelf defining a clearance hole for the bolt. The housing may store a slack length of the cord below the shelf and above the PCB.

Abstract: An illumination apparatus comprises a plurality of LEDs aligned to an array of directional optical elements wherein the LEDs are substantially at the input aperture of respective optical elements. An electrode array is formed on the array of optical elements to provide at least a first electrical connection to the array of LED elements. Advantageously such an arrangement provides low cost and high efficiency from the directional LED array.

Abstract: An electronic lighting device and a method for manufacturing the same are disclosed. The electronic lighting device includes an outer shell with a first opening at a top surface and a core contained within the outer shell. The core includes a left semicircular structure and a right semicircular structure arranged to form a circular shape that is aligned with the first opening at the top surface of the outer shell. The device includes a flame component positioned partially in the internal cavity. The device also includes a light emitting element disposed at least partially in a lighting element installation cradle on a sidewall of the core to hold the light emitting element at a non-zero angle with respect to a longitudinal axis of the electronic lighting device to allow illumination of the flame component. The device further includes a control circuit to control an operation of the lighting emitting element.
