摘要: LED related lighting methods and apparatus are described. Various features relate to water tight light fixtures. Some of the fixtures are spotlights while other fixture are intended for in ground use. The light fixtures in at least some embodiments include power control features. In spotlight embodiments beam angle and power or light output can be controlled without opening the light assembly or compromising the water tight seals which also protect against dirt. In ground embodiments support tilt angle setting which allow a user to set the light fixture to one or more tilt angles. Beam angle can also be changed in some embodiments as well as power control. Beam angle, power control and tilt angle adjustments are supported in some embodiments but need not be supported in all embodiments with some embodiments using one or more of the described features but not all features.

The beam-angle changing lens may be movable from a first position in front of a slotted cylinder to a second position in front of the slotted cylinder. The slotted cylinder may be fixed with respect to translation along the central axis. The slotted cylinder may be configured to move the beam-angle changing lens from the first position to the second position when the slotted cylinder is rotated. The slotted cylinder may be configured to displace the support to move the lens to the positions. The apparatus may include a guide pin. Rotation of the slotted cylinder may displace the guide pin linearly in a direction parallel to the axis. Motion of the guide pin may move the lens. The apparatus may include a rotatable shaft. The rotatable shaft may be configured to rotate the slotted cylinder.

The apparatus may include a CCT state selector. A user may use the CCT state selector to select a CCT for one or more LED light sources. The CCT may be produced by combining light from one or more LEDs of different CCTs.
